Greetings Dear Readers;

.
Hope you are well and enjoying a fine day today.

What a Principle ....right...too simple? Let's give it a look.

'Hypersensitivity means loss of common sense.'

Hyper....Sensitive....ity...

Let's look at the word...'Sensitive'...'That conveys or receives sense impressions; as sensitive nerves.' Med. Abnormally susceptible; sensitized.'

'Excessive sensitivity'....is the meaning of the word 'Hypersensitivity'....loss of objectivity...resulting in loss of common sense.

Common sense...(as found in the dictionary)...'implies a capacity for making practical, or prudent and reasonable decisions.'

Looking at the meaning of these words assists in a clearer, sharper, understanding of this Principle/ Timeless Truth.

Let's see if we can say it another way....now that we have looked at the meaning of these words according to a dictionary.

Excessive sensitivity causes loss of the ability to make reasonable decisions.

It should be noted that 'Hypersensitivity is blind to it's hypersensitivity'...hopefully it is only of short duration. This is why this principle is helpful...if we can realise we are not being reasonable...we can recognise our need of objectivity.

Shall we give this Timeless Truth a think.

.

Wishing you and yours all the best...God's best!
.

...For God loved the world so much that He sent His uniquely born Son (Jesus Christ) so that anyone who believes on Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3.16

It is faith alone in Christ alone for salvation.

.
Thank you for dropping by. ^__^

Kind Regards,

Bleujay

This is a very thoughtful point. Being too sensitive can really affect how we see things and make decisions. I like how you explained the need for more objectivity.

If we are hypersensitive, then emotions and sensitivity takes over brain and decisions are not rational, better stop and wait a moment to calm
