The Thief On The Cross ~ MCGI Topic Review.

I know it is normal to sin but do not do it on purpose. Once you are aware that you are committing a sin, kindly stay away from it.
So many times, a lot of people have used the thief on the cross as an excuse. They feel that they will also go to heaven even though they commit too much sins all because the thief on the cross went to heaven with Jesus Christ.

Let me just narrate the story. When Jesus Christ was been crucified, he was crucified alongside two other men and the one on his right handside is the thief. That just felt like the lucky day for the thief. Here is the reason why Jesus Christ took the thief in heaven with him.

It was said that the thief was a notorious thief and a sinner who has never met Jesus Christ. Though, he might have been hearing about Jesus Christ but that wasn’t stated in the Bible. He hasn’t met Jesus Christ one on one and found it difficult to believe Christ or even serve God. That’s why Jesus Christ pitied him and said he will be with him together in heaven.

Luke 23:43 says; And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Jesus Christ was aware about the fact that the robber has never heard about him before and that’s why the thief was given the opportunity to be in heaven with Jesus Christ.

For you, you must have heard about Jesus Christ over a hundred times so you have no excuse. Jesus Christ has laid a legacy that all of us should follow so you should have no excuse whatsoever.

Do good, stay away from everything that we were asked to stay away from. That’s because you may not be opportune to go to heaven like the thief on the cross.
