Wednesday Walk 28-01-26

I had a busy morning with customers and errands mostly local.

I decided just before lunch i would take a walk near my house.

I live in a nice countryside area in the midlands of the UK.

It was a nice day even though the ground was very soft wet and muddy in places.

I love walking around the area i live just outside the village.

Regardless of the conditions.

It is nice living in the countryside away from all the hustle and bustle.

The sky was displaying all kinds of clouds.

I headed towards home for lunch.

It is always good to get time to think and walking is so great for that i find.

I ended up coming over a small foot bridge across the railway.

I looked to see if there were any trains and there was one coming each way but not together.

After i headed on to my house.

I had to walk past Gary the Guard, thats what the onwner calls him, he has different outfits throughout the year.

Then on to home.

As i came to my house there was all this bunch hanging out on my roof i love birds.

FOODIE

Everyday nearly i will grab some kind of sandwich for lunch as it is quick, filling and good fuel to get to dinner. 🤣

Today i made a cheese, pickle onion, chilli gerkin and ham sandwich.

So i started of with to soft rolls and cut them part way.

I got a container and made some mustard mayo to my taste.

Once mixed i spread it on both sides of the rolls.

Then i grated on cheese.

Then i added sweet pink pickled onions.

Then i added ham honey roasted

I then chopped and added a chilli pickled gerkin.

Then i decided i wanted one of the chillies as well.

Then we close them up.

I then made a coffee to go with it.

What quick meals do make for lunch?
