Scholarship? My new Gig and why; #257

If you were told you had won a scholarship to study or learn something new, what would you like to learn and why?

Greetings beautiful ladies. Trust we’ve all been good. Sighting this articulate prompt brought rushes of goodness on my cheeks. It’s more like a dream come through for me. And I am hoping that as I engage on this prompt, that this won’t just be a prompt writing but it would turn out to be a prayer come through for me.

First of all, the idea of winning a scholarship is an exciting one. Considering the financial strain it would remove from me and I’d be able to focus and do what I actually want to do as regards to studying sometime id love to study if I win a scholarship. Well, instead of learning a new skill which I believe is a good one, I’d settle for a study and what I’d love to study would be law.

Law? Yep. Somehow, somewhere down the line of my recent life happenings, I have developed a love for law and a craving to study law. This craving came about because of the recent line of business which I found myself in and thats real estate. Real estate is everything that has to do with properties that’s attached to land. Some months ago, I was introduced into the world of real estate by a friend. After being there for a while, I knew I was in the right place to be.

I have gotten to know some things and one of the things I got to know is the so much bias and fears people have about the real estate space. A lot of them get misquoting the laws due to so much fears and are letting their fears stop them from actually giving a trial to something that could be of so much help to them.

So along the line, it just dawned on me that I need to be on my A game in this space and our developers who we partner with will always tell us that our biggest enemies as consultants are the lawyers and another party that I don’t actually remember now. So if lawyers are my biggest enemies and I get to become that biggest enemy, I won’t have any enemies again. And I’d have an edge when dealing with the Investors.

Imagine being a consultant who is a lawyer too. That knows the onions and have no fear. You understand the laws that mitigate against your business and have the convincing power to woo your prospects into clients. What better boldness would you have knowing where you are coming from. If I am going to major in an area of law, it would be property law like I said.

Since I am into real estate, I will major in property law and in that case learn all there is to it. This route is not an easy One for me as I am a science student and need to reroute my course of study but I intend to pursue that and I’d hope this scholarship somehow would later move from being just a prompt to being my experience. I’d look forward to that miracle but if it didn’t happen, I’d still read law. Hopefully I will start next year.

My younger sister is an actually a lawyer and she motivates me a lot. I hope I get to join her league soon. I can’t wait to be a learned colleague.🤭
