Here we are with another word in Spanish. Now we have the word swallow. So, today let's see the word 'Swallow'. Do you know how we say 'Swallow' in Spanish?
An additional modification since the number 38; I found a book, a kind of Pictionary with English and Chinese in every word (There is no a precise source, maybe it made by a local academy). Then I will follow it and add the Spanish corresponding word. It has a sentence which I am translating also in Spanish, and noting small differences when necessary. Then it has a version in English, Chinese and Spanish. After this pictionary I will put the usual description of the word.

“Golondrina” está muy bien elegido porque es una palabra sencilla, visual y además culturalmente familiar. La equivalencia principal es swallow = golondrina, y encaja bien con el ejemplo “Las golondrinas vuelan muy rápido”; además, la familia de estas aves se describe como insectívoras que cazan en vuelo en Wikipedia, y Educalingo recoge el uso general de golondrina como ave migratoria muy común en España durante primavera y verano en Educalingo.
La imagen funciona bien para aprendizaje porque une palabra + dibujo + oración, que suele fijar mejor el vocabulario que una definición sola. Y la foto del nido le da un toque más real: ya no es solo una traducción, sino una palabra conectada con una escena concreta.
Pequeño ajuste de estilo: en español suena más natural “Las golondrinas vuelan muy rápido” que “Las golondrinas vuelan muy rápido.” como traducción literal del inglés, aunque ambas se entienden perfecto. Buen post para estudiantes porque enseña vocabulario, frase útil y contexto visual sin complicarlo de más.
