I love that blog--Don't go anywhere. I'm not. Although, I never did expect to make money here. I like my Hive power because it gives me greater votes. I can upvote more people. I like that, a lot.
When I first started here, 8 years ago, I couldn't get off the ground. It felt horrible. My husband invested a few hundred in me so I'd have more fun. That's all it ever was. Then the price shot up, once, and I thought, wow, I might make money. Then it went down. Back to having fun. Will I make money here? I don't know. As you say, I'm here for the people, for the writing, for the fun.
I hope Hive soars. People need it, and when it's low this place is like a ghost town :) Not me. I blog more when the going is tough. And I blog content that takes a long time to write. Price--not a factor for me.
Hope to see you around in the years ahead. I'm sure I'll expire before my enthusiasm for blogging expires.
That's exactly it. Hive has treated me well over the years. It's provided for my family and let us survive some pretty rough times.
It's back to having fun for me now. It allows me to have a voice. I'll always be grateful for that!
