I’ve always admired people who have spaces in their homes dedicated to plants. First and foremost, because they demonstrate a special ability to appreciate and care for "living things" that others don't know how to value—after all, a plant means companionship.
Not everyone has the gift of cultivating plants and making them bloom, let alone lavishing so much love on a bunch of green leaves... leaves that actually learn to recognize us by the sound of our voices.
Goodness, I’ve been terrible with mine... honestly, I feel a bit ashamed because I haven't treated them very well lately... 😔
A home with plants looks so different; they speak volumes about the people who live there, and the fresh, pleasant atmosphere that flows through the house is a real luxury.
Thank you for your post and for showing us your beautiful Alocasia—along with the love and tenderness you give your plants.
