Dar Gottem was never meant for the forge. This gnome was built for glory… and unfulfilled potential! While other gnomes hammered steel into swords and shields, Dar tinkered away in a cloud of sparks and questionable ideas.

Instead of crafting weapons of war, he built wings out of scrap metal, scales from old armour plates! He’ yapping on the streets wrapped in his half-melted “dragon suit” shouting all kind of profanities!

Madness… or genius? The locals couldn’t decide. Some laughed, some cheered, and others just made sure their anvils were firmly bolted down whenever Dar was nearby.

Heavy Metal means every monster gets +2 Armor. It’s the ultimate test of endurance for a battle where brute force takes a back seat, and the clank of steel decides who stands last.

Most monsters groan under the weight of extra armour but not Dar. His already absurd durability becomes a full-on fortress. With Void cutting down incoming magic damage and Trample letting him roll through opponents.

Of course a degen battle this intense had to kick off with a 69 mana cap... because why play it safe when chaos is this fun? Throw in the Heavy Metal and Aim True rulesets, and suddenly every armoured unit on the field was locked, loaded, and guaranteed to land their blows.

No misses, no mercy! Dar "Gottem" Gearnut brings calculated carnage as titans clashed in a whirlwind of steel, strategy, and raw degen energy. This match was a masterclass in armoured domination.

My lineup? A deadly mix of precision and brute force: Nidhoggr stripping health and armour, Dar "Gottem" Gearnut stomping into his debut as a melee tank with Trample and the Night Reaper soaring with Wingbreaker.

What else? The Redwyrm Dragon bringing immunity and lethal magic, Mystic Mudbinder crushing opponents with Oppress, and Gramel The Hunger raining unpredictable damage through Scattershot and Charge.

The match began with chaos — my decoy Moribund Arrowbait took the bait perfectly, triggering the Bloodline Tribute. The enemy buffed themselves, but my formation didn’t flinch.

The real target was clear: Ulundin Overseer, the enemy’s unstoppable tank. Dar “Gottem” Gearnut, despite his gnome stature, proved to be an absolute wall. He absorbed wave after wave of punishment while my casters dismantled the enemy front.

Midway through round two, Ulundin finally fell... and the tide turned. My Redwyrm Dragon delivered a perfectly timed blast, slicing through the enemy’s backline.

With Heavy Metal giving everyone armour, Dar turned that into a weapon, soaking everything thrown at him until the enemy’s will broke. In the end, every buff, debuff, and scattershot counted.

Dar “Gottem” Gearnut’s resilience and the Redwyrm Dragon’s devastating finish secured a flawless victory in his debut fight. A chaotic brawl turned into a tactical masterpiece — a reminder that even in madness, strategy reigns supreme.

Strategic buffs and the perfectly timed finishing strike from Redwyrm Dragon sealed the win. My clever use of buffs and debuffs turned chaos into victory. See the full battle here!
