Hola amigos hiverianos!!
Esta tarde estuve mirando el paisaje desde la azotea de casa; antes tenía mejor vista pero después vinieron otros y levantaron casas, el barrio comenzó a crecer y los atardeceres se hicieron más difíciles.
Mirando el paisaje recordé el anchuroso mar donde anteriormente iba a ver el vaivén de las olas y el crepitar de la marea. Los arrecifes rompiéndose contra la inmensidad de ese mundo de sal establecido en el arco de la tierra, la brisa vertiendo el aroma salobre contra el rostro me hacía bien.
Ahora tengo mucho verde alrededor y las aves que cantan en las mañanas, porque las de la noche son un poco más tristes cuando aparecen.
Quería dejarles este texto de hace un par de años, habla un poco de eso. También dejo estas imágenes del entorno; fueron tomadas ya anocheciendo.

Mira estas olas
La verdura te lleva entre la brisa
las estaciones pueden parecer una aventura
el mundo un barrio desierto y desolado
las manos hacen como el adiós mímico
¿si no has estado a quién voy a dejar?
en esta puerta donde solo silba el viento
su canción que sabe de desventura
hasta los pájaros se han ido tras de ti
un barco pasa con su estela de noche
las gaviotas sumergen su cabeza,
las nodrizas acunan a sus niños
y yo he dejado aquel pañuelo blanco
por si volvieras y en la memoria de mis manos
soy una nodriza, el viento, el barco en vilo
azotado por la oscura tormenta
que se debate en ignoto porvenir.

**Hi, my friends!**

This afternoon, I was looking out at the landscape from the rooftop of my house. I used to have a clearer view, but over time, others moved in and built homes. The neighborhood grew, and watching the sunset became more difficult.
As I gazed into the distance, I was reminded of the open sea—how I used to go there just to watch the waves sway and hear the rhythmic crackle of the tide. The reefs crashing against the vastness of that salty world, set in the curve of the Earth, and the breeze carrying the briny scent to my face—it always made me feel alive.
Nowadays, I'm surrounded by greenery and awakened by birdsong in the mornings. The night birds, when they appear, seem a bit more melancholic.
I wanted to share with you a short reflection I wrote a couple of years ago—it's about all that. I’m also including some photos I took of the surroundings after nightfall.

Look at these waves—
the greenery carries you on the breeze.
The seasons may feel like an adventure,
the world like a deserted, desolate neighborhood.
Hands mimic farewell gestures—
but if you were never here,
to whom am I saying goodbye?
At this door where only the wind whistles
its tune of misfortune and sorrow,
even the birds have followed after you.
A ship passes, trailing its wake through the night,
seagulls bow their heads,
wet nurses rock their children gently.
And I have left behind that white handkerchief—
just in case you return—
in the memory held by my hands.
I am the wet nurse, the wind,
the ship in the storm,
lashed by a darkness
that wrestles with an unknown future.
