Cool issue, in my mind, 2000s magazines feel like the future of gaming. I stop playing sometime around 97, so everything after that seemed novel for me including the franchises like Fallout, BioHazard, Civilization and other games that made their mark. Many people feel the 80s and 90s was the golden age of videogames, from characters such as Pacman, Sonic, and Mario were birthed then. But 2000-2020 didn't even had a unified fanfare that is well known across the globe. Could you name a franchise that can do something like this on the past 20 years?
