This weekend is one for the books!
Howdy friends!
I was super busy Friday and Saturday. I left home at 9am and got back at 11:30pm.π
I went to my Home Care job in the morning, left at 5:30pm, and went to my delivery job. Well, I was in for a surprise {not my the kind I like}! I was supposed to go to the restaurant, pick up my deliveries and go! Not happening that fast. Low and behold, not only were they not packed and ready to go, MORE THAN HALF WASN'T EVEN COOKED!π€¦ββ
Me being me, I couldn't just sit there and wait around, doing nothing! Oh no, I dug right in and started helping! Clearing & cleaning off the tables for when the next customers came in. My anxiety was kicking in. I wanted to grab the bags and get going.
I kept checking my phone to see what time it was, tick, tick, tick, the time was going fast, it was getting late, I wanted to get my deliveries done and head to Stephenville for the weekend. Not happening tonight.π
Anyway, they got on the go, locked the doors and eventually the food started coming out. OMG! They had a special online for that weekend! Guess what? She forgot to go in and delete the post when they reached their limit, and got double the orders! Oh me nerves! My soon to be daughter in law works there as a server, she and I had to mark on EVERY container what was in it {pork casserole, spaghetti, mac and cheese, there were 10 different meals, we also had to write * bake @ 350 for 20 minutes, uncovered, and draw a smiley face *. by the time I got halfway through drawing my faces were looking like frowns, lol
Here is a picture of our assembly line.

I delivered 20 bags, with 10 meals in each bag! Each night.

I got creative in hiding the bags if they weren't home! lol
I did this again Saturday, I didn't get to go to Stephenville for the weekend!
I delivered the meals to 5 different towns. The last deliveries were an hour away from the restaurant, but only 20 minutes from home for me.
Let me tell ya, when I got home at 11:30 last night, had a glass of wine, I crashed when I got into bed. @bradleyarrow cooked brunch, I got up when it was on the table. It was yummy! Tks Bradley! Love you!π
I am wishing for a more organized delivery in 2 weeks time. They are not doing any on line specials next weekend!
Anyway, this old lady is headed to bed again, early rise in the AM!
Life is GOOD! God Blessπ
I love you so much. You are just awesome, the way you always help out when help is needed.
