Yes, I’m Fit And Here’s Why I Know It

If someone had asked me a few years ago, “Do you consider yourself fit?” I might have hesitated. But today, my answer is a confident yes. I’m not saying I have a bodybuilder’s physique or run marathons, but I’ve built a lifestyle that keeps me healthy, active, and strong physically and mentally.

Fitness, for me, isn’t about six-packs or fancy gym selfies. It’s about consistency. Every day, I make it a point to move my body whether it’s through morning stretches, evening walks, home workouts, or even helping out with physical chores. Some days I do strength exercises using just my body weight, other days I focus on mobility and balance. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.

One thing I’m proud of is that I don’t wait for motivation. I’ve made fitness a habit, just like brushing my teeth. There are days I don’t feel like doing anything, but I remind myself why I started not just to look good, but to feel good. I sleep better now, I rarely get tired during the day, and my focus has improved a lot.

Another reason I know I’m fit is because of how my body responds. I can climb stairs without losing breath. I can carry groceries without feeling like I ran a marathon. My muscles recover faster, and I don’t fall sick as often. That tells me my body is working with me not against me.

Also, I’ve been more mindful about what I eat and how I hydrate. I try to drink enough water, cut back on junk food, and eat more fruits and vegetables. I’m not perfect, but I’m intentional.

So yes, I do consider myself fit and healthy because I put in the work daily, not for the world to see, but for me to live better.

And with this my daily habit my feelings of happiness, motivation of healthy living living has far improved more than my thought.
