City tour – Dresden, Germany

I would like to invite you on a little city tour through Dresden, Germany.
But first

Thank you all for the warm welcome here on HIVE and the many positive reactions to my first post.
You encourage me to show more of my little world while learning about the HIVE ecosystem.
Thanks for everything and welcome to Dresden!
The Old Town of Dresden
The old town is really worth seeing, even if not everything is as old as it looks. Much of it got rebuilt after the war. That takes ages and costs a lot. Wars are really not worth it...
Frauenkirche
The Frauenkirche is probably Dresden's most famous landmark. Destroyed at the end of the war, it only got rebuilt 60 years later. Here you can read the whole story and see it from the inside.

Dresden University of Fine Arts
The University of Fine Arts with its imposing buildings, founded in 1764, is located on the banks of the river Elbe.

Dresden Castle
Seufzerbrücke, The Bridge of Sighs, is a wooden crossing between the castle and the Catholic Court Church, built in 1899.

One last look back through the fog

The effects on the photos make them look fake but still really neat looking. I love that top photo, it looks so peaceful.
Right, sometimes I like it a little dramatic.
But I can confirm they are all taken by me and polished "a little".
The place down on the river is indeed a peaceful spot where people meet to relax.
I don't know why but it's weird to see a Martin Luther memorial someplace outside the US.. Like I know how that sounds haha but still
Beautiful pictures though!
Thank you.
Yes, he lived and worked here +-200km.
And then, again, 30 years of war thanks to religion.

Wow man, you're photos are amazing. I wish traveling wasn't so expensive, but good photos are something great as well.
Thanks my friend. If you come here, at least you have a free sofa for the night.
