“So Long Old Friend!”🙄
Silvertop had just hiked up to Grants off- grid cabin a few weeks ago……………
As I approached the trailhead, I stopped in my tracks!
Ohhh…… no……it looks like Grant finally made the decision to sell!😮
Liz pulled up the listing, on her iPhone…….

“Escape to your own private retreat with this rustic, fully furnished completely off-grid cabin nestled on 1.43 peaceful acres. Tucked away in a serene natural setting, this charming getaway offers the perfect place to relax, and unplug, listed at $350,000”😊

At one point Grant was going to give this cabin to his son, but I guess that fell through………….
This cabin, definitely needs a bit of “TLC”!
Property Tax’s are over $3,000 dollars a year, and the only source of heat is an old wood stove!🥶
No electricity, no plumbing, and if you look at the photo just after the inside photo with the wood stove, you are looking at Grants only shower, an outdoor shower!”😅
“Liz, I’m sure a shower in January, with snow on the ground, would be VERY invigorating!”😳🥶
“Silvertop, it would take a hardy soul to live year round in this old cabin, I doubt if it even has any insulation in the walls, I’m sure it’s cold in the winter!”
As I headed back towards home, I passed two other neighbors talking on the street…………….
“Look here comes Silvertop, now we have three neighbors to split the cost of buying Grants cabin between all of us Lol!”😇
Hmmm…………………..
At this low of price, our friends cabin will probably sell quickly!🙄
Grant you will be missed my friend!😮
