Seems like the first thing anyone talks about recently is the lack of Winter this year!🙄
As I type this post it’s in the 50’s….. in the middle of January!😎
This time last year, our neighbors Keith and Lynne were putting out “Game cameras” after I showed both of them the second and third photo!😺
“Yep….. that’s a BIG Cat Silvertop!”😳
It’s much safer hiking in the Mountains when you have snow, you instantly know when you have “Company”!😻😬
“Silbertop, I not see ANY tracks, we hike dis way!”🐸
“Hmmm….. if you say so PEPE!”🤔😇
My friend @thebighigg, the other day was commenting that the Bears might be coming out of hibernation as well, thinking it’s springtime!🐻
Liz has already started snapping photos of “Skunk weed” one of the first plants to emerge, marking the end of Winter!🤗
Could it really be the end of Winter Lol!😇
My friend @silversaver888 was wondering if I “Carry” when I am alone deep in the Mountains……
Most days I do….. but I really don’t want to be “THAT” close to a hungry cougar or bear!🐻
Bears have such thick skin, any form of aggression isn’t going to end well!😬😳
The Deer population has dwindled down to only an occasional sighting………..
This usually is a sign of Cougar activity……….😺
“So PEPE, are you sure we won’t run into a Cougar, or a Bear on today’s hike?”😇
“Silbertop you scout up ahead on trail, den come back fer PEPE after trail safe!”🐸
So much for our brave PEPE leading the hike today Lol!😇🤣

It is funny to me that people are surprised we have less winter or that the seasons have shifted even.
We are coming out of an ice age cycle, i am sure environment issues like pollution has a little to do with global warming but it is mostly a cycle this is what the planet does.
The seasons shifting is because we don't use the proper calendar there should be 13 months not 12, when people mess with dates and times it wacks everything out of sync.
Somethimg i was told was actually which you may find interesting

People messed around with dates so much no one has a clue what the hell is going on.

I think you are spot on, I used to think the winter solstice was the darkest day of the year as well... after I checked with AI I discovered that the mornings keep getting darker until about January 3 to January 6🙄

We got your cold temperatures! They went on vacation to Hawai'i! I'd definitely not want to run into a bear on a trail. Cougars I can deal with, but bears are a whole different animal entirely! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Oh, that's good! Black bears are way less dangerous! They sure do! I would be extremely cautious wandering around in forests with brown or grizzly bears around! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
The grizzlies definitely have a temper...... of course even the black bears are extremely powerful!🙄
Indeed, and some of those larger bears even start looking at people as dinner, especially Kodiak and polar bears! For sure, though just a tad less aggressive! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
