My Actifit Diary: April 14 2026

Today was leg day at the gym. I only do it once a week because I don’t like it. But it’s necessary, and I’m pushing myself there as I do with all exercises these days. Today I completed the whole round with an extra 10lb on every machine. Which was noticeable in my pulse, it was hard to have it calm down.

I still don’t do enough breaks between the sets. For a while, I used @snapie to mitigate that. Answering one snap per break. Something like that. But these days, I’m trying to to help Danny as much as I can, so I rather push through quick and then get to my tasks of the day. Which I did, and I accomplished a lot of them.

Had the extinguishers checked and reset, paid for the annual permit, made a sign for him that points out what is restaurant and what is the store, installed both the manual bell as well as the movement sensor bell for him so people can ring when the door is closed, and when the door is open they notice when someone walks in. I also installed security and anti-slip stripes on two dangerous steps.

Since Lily isn’t with me, I do have a lot of time on my hands. And Ellie’s company is still in re-structuring, and since all the bosses are in the US and none is here, I offered my help. Not for money. I do get 7$ an hour (which is a lot here, though less than I’d usually charge), but I get paid in clothing. Fine by me, I love their garments and artwork, and especially Ducrecio’s new designs for menswear. So, we had a meeting today. They were still kind of figuring out what exactly they need – which ironically Ellie and I already know better, because we talk about it a lot. But it’s better when they give the guidelines. And I made clear that as soon as Lily is back, I’ll go back to be a full time daddy. Which is not negotiable, although they were absolutely fine with it and understood.

I did a lot of cooking in the evening, some salads and finally a pumpkin that I had sitting on the counter for 2 months. Now that it’s cooked, I’ll have to eat it. So far for today, I wish you all a wonderful night and thank you for reading!
