WOO Around the Web: Simple Ways to Spread the Word

A Big Hello to all WOO Fans! 🥳🥳🥳 WOO!

The call to vote for WOO on TheDappList was pretty successful based on the numbers posted. However, the campaign doesn’t stop on Hive. We need to push WOO into every corner of Web3. In this post, I will brainstorm and list some easy ideas every WOO fan and HIVE member can use right now, even if you only have a few minutes.

• Crypto Conferences

  • Mention WOO in panels or Q&A sessions.
  • Hand out flyers or QR codes linking to our vote guide.
  • This is probably only for people on HIVE who actually attend such events. Nevertheless, I am sure we have people here on HIVE who do attend and can play a role.

• Podcasts and Streams

  • Drop WOO shout-outs on relevant shows.
  • Offer hosts a promo code for listeners.
  • We do have several people who video blog regularly on 3Speak and YouTube. It is a good way to reach out to the wider audience out there too.

• Social Media

  • Post simple vote reminders on Twitter and Instagram.
  • Use #VoteWOO and #WOOdAppList tags. (these tags are just examples, I'm sure you can think of better ones 🤣)
  • This is pretty self explanatory. Just give WOO a shoutout on your social media profile.

• Gaming Communities

  • Share the guide in relevant Discord and Reddit channels.
  • Offer to answer questions and help set up wallets.
  • I'm sure plenty of HIVE users are gamers and play Splinterlands. Get your friends who are gamers into the game and help the entire HIVE ecosystem.

• Real-World Meetups

  • Throw a small watch party for any WOO-related livestream.
  • Show people how to vote right then and there.
  • Once again, this is something that can be done amongst each person's small group of friends and family (if they're into games).

I’ve already done my part and posted some shoutouts in different groups, just like in the points mentioned above. Some replies were quick, others took a follow-up, but every mention helps. We all have different strengths. Use yours. Every tweet, post, or mention moves the needle for WOO. If WOO succeeds, HIVE benefits immeasurably too!
