El desastre de los Mets es de tal magnitud, que no comprendemos el porqué mantienen al venezolano Carlos Mendoza como manager. El tercera base de La Sabana quien es titular de los Royals de Kansas City, Maikel García, volvió a la alineación luego de un receso forzado por un tirón en la pierna. No lo colocaron en lista de lesionados pero se perdió varios partidos. Para celebrar su retorno, volvió a ser el hombre oportuno de siempre.
