A Thursday that I lived in mountains| Throwback

These pictures are from previous thursday. A Thursday which will forever in my memories because i lived it in mountains. It was my longest trip until now. I hope that in future i will have long tours like this one.

We were heading towards the Hunza which is region in the Gilgit Baltistan province of Pakistan. This region is very ancient which can show you history of many religions including Bhudism.

The roads are built now with the help of latest technology but in ancient times it was silk route which was in use. Silk route is of great importance because ancient people used to do trades with this route. Now, the new route is actually Korakaram Highway.

Sleep was finding home in my eyes but i wasn't sleeping. There were two reasons behind it; one i didn't want to skip any mountainous moment from my eyes.Second, the path was adventurous and i was having fear in my heart. We were literally going through a little patch sometimes. It was really risky but we all took these risks to relive the moment.

Second bus took time to reach us. So we all friends decided to have lunch in that time. It was local hotel but seemingly it was giving vibes.


We ordered Garlic Chicken Karahi. It tastes like heaven. Really, it was so good that i want to eat more and more but these days i am having balance in my diet.


It's my plate..... You would be thinking that how many photos i capture? A lot.... It became my habit to capture every moment. So that i can add it into my blog and cherish it as a bygone memory. Isn't it good?

Once we were done with lunch, we decided to go for a short walk on the road. This walk is special because we were walking between mountains and enjoying the scenery. We,friends, did race competitions and laughed so hard. A dog followed me and police man came to rescue me 😂.

Behind these green trees, you can see Rakaposhi mountain which is difficult to conquer. Although people did conquer it. It's covered with snow and we stood on a hill to get some scenic views of this mountains. We always read about it in books but now i was seeing it.

In the middle of walk,we entered nearby resort garden. Sun was drowning and flowers were closing their petals. I rushed towards flowers to capture these moments.

Not just us but a butterfly was also on walk. She was walking(oh flying) from one flower to another. She is collecting the fragrance. I am surprised by this butterfly that i went so close to her but she didn't fly. Whoops 🤭.

It was a Thursday that i lived in mountains,gardens and clouds. If i go back in time then surely i will go but i don't want to live in illusion.
