Does God Allow Polygamy? || MCGI Topic Review.

Do you think God will punish David and Solomon for marrying different wives if he supports it? That’s to show or let me say that is the biggest proof that God is not in support of polygamy.
Let’s go back in time when God created Adam, he created Eve alongside him so that Eve will be his companion.

Then, God created Eve. This means God never wants women to have rivals nor men. He gave Eve to Adam and that’s how God will give everyone their spouses but we should not practice polygamy and we all should wait for God’s time.

So, polygamy is not and was never allowed by God to David or Solomon. That is why God punished them. Even though it was within their power as Kings to marry so many wives, God still did not instruct them nor give them the chance to marry more than one wife.

Do you know how many women King Solomon got married to? In the book of 1 Kings 11:3 says, And he had seven hundred wives, princesses and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his hearts

Just because of all those acts, God unloved him and punished him. Most men will tell you that men are allowed to fornicate.
I once met a man who said that he’s the only one who can cheat in the relationship but I can’t.

Now, it’s not like I want to cheat but why would he tell me such? If God doesn’t give him the liberty to cheat, then what makes him feel like he can cheat or disobey God?

Practicing polygamy or marrying more than one husband or wife is not allowed by God.
It is a sin and no one is allowed to do it either in the presence of God or not.
