Kindness begins with YOU and I

Reaching out for humanitarian services is what I have been dreaming about since I was younger and I remember how I used to tell myself, I'm gonna have a charity foundation. Thank God, the journey to give back started while I was serving my fatherland. A friend of mine who has the same desire as much as I do called me one day to share his idea, and we first started on Facebook before we moved physically to states we could reach out to.

We started this journey in the Northern part of the country because we both served there. We saw how living was terrible for the less privileged; it was hard, especially for the children. This geared up the quick decision to the inspiration behind our foundation called Pyramid of Heart charity organization with different individuals that come as one. It is a non-governmental organization with no partnership. The mission is to give back to both society and individuals. We aim to extend our hearts of giving to those in need and educate others about the importance of giving.

Donation to the motherless baby's home.

To the glory of God, this year makes it 15 years on the goal, and we have reached out to motherless baby's homes, orphanages, homes of the aged, physically challenged kids, schools, widows and widowers, and different communities at large. We have extended our heart of humanitarian to Lagos, Rivers, Kano, Ogun, Kwara, Oyo, Abuja, and more states will be included soon. Note: All the states mentioned are in Nigeria.

What has the foundation done so far?

We have donated food items to different communities tagged feed the nation, we have distributed school items like bags, stationeries, and sandals to students who need Welcome Back to School, and also built toilets for some schools that are lacking.
We have also donated toiletries, washing machines, noodles, and so on to the motherless baby's homes in all the six states I mentioned above.

How do we get funds?

We have a monthly due mandatory for all members who can and, if you cannot, volunteer to help, plan, and execute whatever program at hand. Also, we can source funds from our friends, family, and well-wishers whom we know individually or a voluntary donation among ourselves. Basically, we have been funding our reach-out ourselves since inception.

How to get involved

• Have a heart of giving, if you lack this, you can't be involved.
• Volunteer to do it willingly not grudgingly
• Educate others about reaching out
• Partner with organizations who are already into humanitarian services if you can't start alone.

What does it do to the society?

Reaching out and humanitarian services alleviate suffering, promote a sense of belonging, and empower individuals to see a reason to give without being forced, it provokes undeniable favor in all ramifications
