When Stability Shakes: Rethinking Trust in Hive and the Uncertain Future of Crypto.
Ever since I have been on this platform, I have never, not once, seen this amount of deep in the system of Hive before. Well, it might have existed some time ago, and I was not aware, but now it feels very sad to see the amount of debt that is looming around the crypto system. I remember vividly about 2 years or 3 years ago when hive went down the hill; it was not as deep as what I am seeing now, and then I don't think it went too far to this extent, and then it went back by making a bull run.

At this time and season, I think it's now becoming something one could not really depend on or bank on because it is now affecting a lot of things to the point that the stablecoin, which is HBD, is not more stable, and if you check the price of HBD as of this morning, you will see that the price of HBD has drastically reduced to 0.8 plus. But on a normal ground, the value of HBD was never meant to drop because it is a stable coin, which has made hive more relevant to me.
Now when we get to a point where HBD itself, which is a stablecoin, becomes unstable, I think the game is now getting a big turnaround. But one thing I know for sure is the fact that there is nothing with a start that doesn't have an end because what goes up will surely come down. I am very certain about that. But what do we do eventually when what goes up refuses to come down? I think we need to think about that. Also talking about the rise and fall of cryptocurrency, it has really affected more businesses, especially those that deal with cryptocurrency in making their transactions.
I was in a discussion with a friend yesterday, and he told me about what was going to happen to crypto in the next coming months, but I was a bit skeptical because one can't actually predict what will happen in the next coming hours, let alone days. So, I could only argue less because I knew I couldn't really fight what he was saying. One thing I believe is that most of all the predictions we do are just based on what we see and based on our own judgment about the current market structure.
Sometimes we foretell and give some predictions that might eventually not work out because we are not too certain about if they will surely happen or not. It is only when we predict and our predictions work out that we will now say we have been able to get what we want because it worked in our favor. But I wish we could really foretell or see the future of these cryptocurrencies. Most people would have become rich to the level that the owners might wonder what is going on, but if it was meant to be so, then I don't think there will be a rise and fall in the crypto world at all. One thing is that I think without the rise and fall, there wouldn't have been anything we will call crypto today.

So what did your friend think was going to happen in the next couple of months? I think you are wise to be skeptical about it. Even the experts don't really know what is going to happen. Sentiment around HIVE lately has definitely been pretty dismal. I've been here since the beginning and this is certainly the lowest I have seen.
He was telling me that i should not be surprised if i see the price of hive going down again. Actually, the current price baffles me also and i cant really say thisbis what will happen next or when exactly the price will go up again.
That actually sounds pretty reasonable.

STOPNice read.
I remember reading that there is a point where HBD will take a haircut and get halved or something like that. If that happens I think it will shake up the chain considerably. Those people relying on the DHF will get a nasty shock.
I'm long term on HIVE and will ride it out whether it drops to zero or shoots back to $2 / Hive but it really needs to find its best use case...and I can come up with hundreds of them easily.
Same thing with crypto. I see so many wonderful real world scenario's for crypto currency but also see that if it isn't widely adopted it is basically vapor.
Time will tell to be certain. At the moment I'm sort of hedging my bets. I'm making money on HIVE, extracting it to real world investments, then using the dividends from those real world investments to re-invest in HIVE.
If HIVE continues to falter I'm getting money out in the short term and repurchasing it month by month in the long term. If HIVE recovers in a big way? Well, I lose out on some potential but I have a fair amount of HP that goes up in value so I'm pretty happy with that.
Lets see what the future holds :)
