Bowling with The Wrong Hand
It's been a while since I've been bowling. I can't say that I'm particularly good at it, but I have fun. I got invited to go out for a round of bowling tonight and decided, why not?
I met up with some guys from church. When I got there, I found out there was a catch. One of the guys is right-handed, but there wasn't a ball with a big enough hole for his right thumb, so he'd have to bowl left-handed. To make it fair, everyone agreed to bowl with their non-dominant hand. I'm a lefty, so that meant bowling with my right hand.
I laced up my bowling shoes and mentally prepared myself to throw multiple, consecutive gutter balls.
Surprisingly, I didn't do terrible. I didn't get any strikes, but I did pick up a few spares. I was honestly surprised how well I did considering I haven't bowled in years, much less right-handed. I managed to get 80 points.
It's certainly not my best, but also not my worst either. I don't think I'll be going pro anytime soon, but I forgot how much fun it is and will definitely be going back. Next time I'll be using my left hand, and hopefully the score will be quite a bit higher. 😆

I have a feeling all of my balls would end up in the gutter if I had to bowl with my non dominant hand. That can't be easy at all!
