what is good folks, I been fairly critical recently, that is what's good folks š¤£ but being critical is a good start but if you just bash and you don't bring any alternative solutions, what good is it really ?
So for this one I will try to do just that I am present a solid solution for the chain... so lets get into it.
About this Krampus ratio, not it for me. Feels like everyoneās waiting for curators to suddenly police the pool, talkinā stake-shame, maybe the system balances... man, thatās unicorns. The wolves and bots still circle
Quick gist for anybody not scrollin through peakD all night. Krampus ratio, KE Ratio, whatever they call it, just means earnings from posts and curation, matched against what you actually power up. High numbers? You're vacuuming more than you stick around. Makes more unpaid work for curators, feels like chain needs bouncers just to keep the peace
Truthfully we shouldnāt need folks to play hero. Blockchain needs to just handle its own business. Nobodyās got time to chase all the leeches, the bots, the accounts milking the pool
Fix is dumb simple, no drama chain tracks everything going in and out of every wallet. Hive in, Hive out, plus whatever you power up. Toss a ratio, use it as a straight multiplier on post rewards. If youāre just raking and skipping out, your rewards take an automatic hit, simple clean
No social drama, no high hopes for ābetter curators.ā Handle it in code, everyone knows the score. Metals donāt need upvotes to be worth a damn thing eh, real value stands by itself. Chain should do the same.
Krampus ratio? Not it. You want real anti leech mechanism? Put the numbers in the rules, let the chain do the slicing. this is what blockchain is all about !

man this is nice and educating even if I donāt know so much about some of the terms you used, Iād probably have to go read up more lol
But I bet you just put words to what most people only grumble about under their breath and maybe it really do feel like some people just farm the pool without leaving anything solid behind, chain ends up paying ghosts while curators are left carrying all the weight and your fix actually makes sense tho simple math dont lie, anything that could cool a lot of that greed without turning hive into some drama filled police state would be nice š

That in out power up ratio as a direct mulitplier on post rewards is the cleanest part here, zero hero worship and no stake shaming. From a numbers lens it is auditable, predictable, and it cuts ADmin overhead for curators who get dragged into drama. Bake it on;chain and the wolves just get clipped automatically, no grand speeches needed. Metals analogy lands too, value should not beg for votes :)
