What My Community Has Taught Me.

If there is anything my community has really taught me in these past few months , it is patience and not just ordinary kind patience o ,but that kind of deep, tested and tried kind that comes from experience and from holding on even when things are not going the way you have hoped they would.

So I won’t really go into all the details because ,you see honestly, some things are just too personal and just somehow to type out, but yeah....what I can say is that these past 10 months has been a lot , So life has been doing what it knows how to do best, and That is throwing unexpected situations at me like I am in some reality show, well..., there were times I honestly just wanted to just give up on everything and press pause on life somehow, but somehow sha... I just kept pushing, I think it is that quiet strength you get when you are surrounded by people who do not always have it all figured out yeah?..., but they still show up,that is how my community has been.

See Whether it is online or offline, I have seen people that face all kinds of challenges in life and they still manage to stay consistent and committed, and hopeful in what they do and believe in, see you just begin to learn that it is not always about loud progress, Sometimes it is just about you just showing up again and again , even when you don’t even feel like it.

See On hive for example, this space has become more than just a writing platform for me, It is like a family I did not know I needed, I have read alot of stories that have made me laugh, cry, or pause to just reflect, and each time, I am just reminded that everybody is going through something, but we somehow all find ways to share and heal...

See people in this community that I have come across in this space , they don’t just post and go, they interact, encourage, and yes sometimes... they just drop comments that make your whole day feel better you know that kind of thing ? And you see that kind of support teaches you something deep, it teaches you to just stay, even when it is easier to walk away.

So yes..., patience is the number one thing I have picked up.
, but also commitment. I have seen how people stay consistent with their goals, even when life is testing them,so it just made me realize that sometimes, the difference between moving forward and staying stucked. is just being willing to try again another day.

There are days I just don't feel like writing or engaging with anybody, especially when I am not in the best mood, those days do come, but then I remember how showing up here has helped me grow, not just as a writer but as a person you get? That lesson alone keeps me ground.

Outside Hive , in my physical environment too, I have started paying attention to the people around me too ,their stories, their resilience, the way they keep finding reasons to smile despite everything, there is something so powerful about community ,even when no one has the answers, just knowing you are not alone can be a form of healing.

So yeah,.... my community has taught me to breathe, to be still, to not rush everything, to allow time to do its thing while I stay faithful to the process, and even though I really dont have all the pieces of the puzzle yet, I am learning to trust that they will come together in time.....

There is a somehow kind of beauty in just being patient with yourself and also with life, even when things are not making sense, That is what this space has given me , And I am very grateful.

That's so thoughtful of you, and I'll say you've done well. Like you said, hive is more than, you coming to post and walk away, you have to engage in other people's post, read what they have to say and see the reason why they post, this will make you learn in one or two way and this will definately add to you in one or two way, I also see alot of benefits in engaging in people's post, reading stories of people about what is going in their life and learning from it. So I'll say keep showing up everytime, keep engaging and keep learning from people's stories and apply it to your life.

For a community to teach patience, that's rare

You're one lucky person I guess.
