When it comes to money, I may hesitate

In life, nothing is more important than money. Many people refuse to accept it, but they also know the truth better than anyone. Because of money, we are making so much effort. The money we earn may not be enough to satisfy us. That's why we always try to make as much money as we can. In fact, some of us don't hesitate to do illegal things to make money.

Suppose one day I got a suitcase on the road with $500,000. After picking up the suitcase, what will I do even after knowing that the bag belongs to one of the richest politicians in my country?

I am a decent person, and I try to satisfy myself within my limited capability, but at the same time, I love money, and I try to make as much money as possible. I have my own principle in life, and I always try to maintain it. In my mind, I don't have the mentality to do something evil that is harmful to others. I make sure that no good people get harmed because of my activities. If I find any money on the road, I must try to find the owner of the money because I think it's my responsibility to return it to the owner of it because the owner of the money may feel worried because of it.

But does it mean I will return the money to the owner of the suitcase even if I know that it can change my life? Won't I hesitate to do it as I also have the desire to change my life permanently? To be honest, I feel that I would love to return the money to the owner if it were someone I knew, a businessman, or a general person. But will I do the same if I know that it belongs to a politician? Before saying anything about it, I think it's necessary to understand the current situation of a politician in my country.

In my country almost all of the politicians are the number one most corrupt people. They don't keep their promises they made before the election. They use their power to make money illegally, even if it's harmful to the general people. They keep playing with the fund of government that is supposed to be used for the development of the country. The politicians are getting rich by stealing the money of the general people as well as the money of the country. Everyone knows that almost all the politicians made an empire for themselves with the money that was supposed to be used for the development of the country. They have tons of money, and $500,000 is a little money compared to what they have. Although I am a decent person, I am not a saint when it comes to returning money to the politician. I feel that rather than returning the money to the politician, it's good to change my future, and I don't hesitate to use the money and my own money.

At least I am sure that if the money remains in my hands, I can do something good for a few people at least, including changing my own fate. I can use the money to do something good for society. Maybe I will help a few people, but at least it's better than a politician because a politician won't give the money to anyone.

It's true that some of the politicians are good and trying their best to do something better for the people. If the money belongs to that kind of politician, I think I won't hesitate to return the money to that politician.

It's true I have pride, and I try to be honest most of the time. For that reason, I feel I will return the money. But at the same time, I may feel greedy also. Who knows? Maybe I am just bluffing because I never got such an opportunity. The greed for money is not a thing that can be imagined so lightly. Maybe at that time, my sense of justice may not work because of being blinded by money.
