What am I supposed to do after six failed relationships? Leave my man, my handsome Samuel to freely do what he wants? No! We’re in this relationship together and I have the right to intervene in every aspect of his life. I can’t watch my man play too much with other girls or get closer to other ladies. That’s how my ex boyfriend was snatched and I wouldn’t want that to repeat itself. That’s what I thought until curiosity killed the cat in my relationship.

Babe, I told you to stop searching my phone. Is it until you see something that’s going to make you cry? he said to me.

Really? So you’re actually doing something that’s going to make me cry on your phone? I said to him while trying to unlock his phone but after trying it incessantly, I gave him back his phone while I faced the other side of the bed.

Maybe Samuel thought I had given up. I just wanted to know what he was doing on the phone and who he was talking to that’s making him laugh so hard.
He’s only supposed to laugh that hard when having a conversation with me. There’s someone somewhere who’s about to take my position, I thought and I waited for the perfect time to strike.

It was midnight and Samuel was sleeping right beside me snoring aloud. It took me about ten minutes to successfully take his phone under the pillow where he laid his head.
Immediately I took the phone, he tossed around the bed, I felt a jolt within myself. I thought he was going to wake up and find his phone with me but he slept back.

I quietly used his fingerprint to unlock his phone. Opening his WhatsApp, the last lady he texted was Janet and he sent her a yellow love emoji. Instantly, it felt like my stomach was in knots. I felt a drop of tear on my thigh.

So this wicked guy is sending another woman a love emoji. He’s not even satisfied after what we’ve been through together, I said in my mind and went straight to his Chrome browser.

What does yellow love emoji indicate, right after I clicked on the search button, Samuel woke up beside me. At first, I forgot the fact that I was angry. I started to shake because he had warned me earlier, during the day to stop going through his phone since there are so many important things he does with his phone.

What are you looking for on my phone, I even pretended to be a good girl when he asked me the question and wanted to apologize but I needed to prove a point as well.

No wonder you don’t want me to check or touch your phone. So, you’re busy sending love emojis and goodnight texts to Janet. Isn’t it? Samuel didn’t even say a word but took his phone from me and opened the entire chat for me to read.

Normally, I was supposed to feel bad and decline reading the chats but I was just too curious to know what they were talking about and the reason behind the love emoji he sent to her.

Eventually, I was wrong. Out of my curiosity, I even checked other chats and checked the word “love” to see if he’s saying that to another woman but I was all wrong. I was busy stressing myself out thinking about what’s not right.

I had even apologized to him and we got cool until he was about to close all the opened applications and saw that I cleared his former browsing history all for me to check what the yellow love emoji meant.

Do you realize that I was processing a job application before you cleared the history, this was the beginning of the problem and my man went straight to the other room, locked up himself and spent the night there.

In the morning, he texted me on WhatsApp and wrote “I’m done”. I banged the door for hours but he refused to open it.
This led to a month’s break in my relationship before his mum intervened and pleaded with him on my behalf. Even after we came back together, we were still not good for a month because he says all the time that I made him lose a golden opportunity.

Since then, I didn’t ever move close to his phone and sometimes when it’s ringing, I don’t even pass it to him because I don’t ever want to touch it again so it doesn’t lead to a real breakup.
