What should we expect to pay for Fortune Tickets and Auction Marks?
With the announcement of the next voucher card and the Yaba’s Pickle promo we get the added excitement of the Gold Foil Arcane Fortune Draws and Black Foil Arcane Auctions, but what should we expect to pay for those?
Aura has a production cost that can be calculated from base inputs but obviously many producers have massive production bonuses which distorts the actual cost of production. A better way to estimate what we expect the cost of these tickets may be to look at the value that Midnight Potions are achieving for the set amount of Aura.
Currently we can pick up Midnight Potions on the Non-Card Market for $0.021 and they cost 40 Aura to produce so we can go with a $ per Aura of $0.000525

Initial sale 24th June – cost 150 DEC, currently $0.143 per CC excluding any potions but still chance of gold and black foils. Limited to 1 per 1,000 staked SPS
Fortune draws 29th July (50 days)– cost 1 Fortune tickets, currently estimated $0.5300 per CC no chance of gold or black foils but could win a gold foil arcane…
Takoshi Drakamoto
Initial Sale 17th June - cost 250 vouchers, currently $5.875 per CC excluding any potions but still chance of gold and black foils, purchase 50 for guaranteed gold foil.
Fortune draws 12th August – cost 10 Fortune tickets, currently estimated $5.300 per CC no chance of gold or black foils but could win a gold foil arcane…
So interestingly on current estimated pricing we would be looking at a slight benefit in waiting for the Fortune Draws on Takoshi Drakamoto but unless your really want a Gold Foil Arcane pickle it will be best to pick up as many as you can in the initial sale.
Of course, this is all hypothetical and markets will find a level for the fortune tickets when they are released and there will be benefits in having these cards available to use before the fortune draw phase of the release.
Finaly, be aware that waiting towards the end of The Pickle Fortune Draw will also mean tickets are being spread between draws for both cards so it may have less competition for the lower number mints than the higher ones earlier in the phase.
It’s going to be an interesting couple of months as we see where the Aura producers decide to put their Aura, and what those who generate a high number of vouchers actually value them at.
