Coca-Cola Polar Bear Silver for International Polar Bear Day!
It seems to come faster and faster every week anymore. The days seem to fly on by and before you know it the calendar tells you it's Friday once again. At least I can say overall it wasn't too bad of a week, except with respect to crypto prices. I'm not even going to go there, far too depressing!
This morning I got an interesting notification, it turns out that it is International Polar Bear Day. I'm not sure how it happened, but it seems that for everything there is now a specific day of the year dedicated to it. Some seem silly at best, and some others are interesting. There are many that I learn something new, so the day isn't wasted!
I've always liked polar bears, they are gorgeous animals from a distance. They can be very vicious and dangerous up close, so a safe distance would be always be better in my book. I'm not the only one that appreciates the animal, the Coca-Cola company has been actively using polar bears in their advertising since 1993. In 2023 they produced a beautiful silver round to commemorate the 30th year of the polar bears in their advertising.

What a pretty piece of silver! I wish I owned one of these, but never picked one up. They are running over $150 on eBay and they are sold out on Apmex, so this one may have to wait before I can add it to my silver stack. It is one solid Troy ounce of silver which is the most important thing, a bonus is that Coca-Cola branded silver products always carry a collector's premium. They never come cheap...

No wonder people like polar bears, they are cute! The really do look cute and cuddly don't they? It's too bad they aren't so friendly in real life.

Another interesting thing is going on in the world of silver finance. The shortage of silver is continuing and has become very tight in the eastern markets. This is driving the price of silver back up the charts very quickly. It wasn't all that long ago we were over $100, it looks like we might be headed there again in very short order.

Definitely creeping back up the charts, when supplies are short prices can only go up. Supply and demand is one of the main driving concepts of economics, and demand is outpacing supply. Silver and gold are a great place to invest, and if you don't have some in your own personal stack it's a wise idea to start. It's a safe haven that will always have value!

Silver Coca-Cola memorabilia is never a loser price wise, they always appreciate in value just like old US coins!
