To be able to look back and see where a thing has been
I would love to know where this coin has been
I imagine it has been touched by hundreds of people who all had interesting lives and their lineage possibly lives on
Is it possible I walked past the grand son of the man who held this coin 99 years ago? its entirely possible

That's what I love about old coins, especially a nice Morgan. Just imagine who could have held it in his/her hand. Maybe Wyatt Earp? Doc Holliday? Lola Montez?.... Even my great, great grandfather? It's a real connection to the past.
