Madaug on Inleo thanks to Kendewitt

Hello everyone on Inleo, I'm Charles but I chose the name Madaug, well because it's called and a friendly name that anyone can call me and relate to. I was doing a studies online about cryptocurrency.

I normally use ChatGPT for that but I felt o wasn't getting Much results, chatgpt kept giving me sites I didn't understand that much. I've done a few months research on blockchain so I wasn't too confused with. I decided to do my own digging right on Google. Not that many people still use Google directly, most of them go straight to chatgpt or grok or deep seek for answers. I get that it's quicker that way. However, I felt the need to use Google itself and well I landed on an article on medium.

The author was Ken Dewitt and from the way he was talking, he looked like someone that's had good experience on the platform. He has an affiliate link at the end but I decided to search for Inleo on Google by myself. Not that I have trust issues with affiliate links but I wanted to be sure that website existed. Everything sounded a little too good to be true to me. So I thought at first that the author had made up a lie to sell a product.

One time I got an article with an affiliate link and it literally landed me at a porn site. I don't want to remember that. Anyways, I should have used his affiliate link because it turns out he was right, Inleo did exist. I did some chatgpt research and found out that Inleo was actually under a bigger project they call Hive. I realized there was a lot for me to learn.

I have done my first two threads though. Just in case you want to check it out, let me see if I can get the link for the threads and share it right here.

After doing some chatgpt search, it said I needed a good introduction post describing myself so I decided to do that. I'm 27 years old now living in Ghana as a single persons on my own. I have tried trading some years back so I'm no stranger to crypto stuff, but I've been more of the put money in and see how the candles turn out. But I have decided to stop looking at it from an investment standpoint and from a technology standpoint that's why I started doing some research. Of course Ethereum and Solana are both cool projects but I was looking for something a bit less saturated and I believe I've found it.

To be honest I'm not much of a creator, the only social media account I have now is YouTube, kind of addicted to it. But I do remember having a Facebook account one time. Mainly messaging and YouTube.

Thankfully I had that Facebook account saved on my Microsoft office file so was able to login in today. There's literally nothing there and that's what I thought about Facebook since then, absolutely nothing. Not that I'm a hater nope, just didn't see the appeal.

I am pretty sure that value here will be a billion times more than Facebook because damn it, I've never written anything this long for online.

Thanks for the article on medium @kendewitt it has motivated me to do the unthinkab, write this much. I've already received some good welcome from a few people from the thread I made on the threads feed.

Nice intro post, seems you made your own research and that you found how to create decent stuff...
Ken was not exactly right: making fast money is not likely to happen, unless some pennies are money for you.
Best wishes on your new path ;)

Welcome to the Hive community @madaug!
We sincerely hope you find everything you are looking for and have found a new home here.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, and Hivesigner,
  3. The master password and the owner key are only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your password or keys; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
  7. DO NOT OPEN any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

If you find yourself overwhelmed and need some guidance, or if you have any questions, there are informed Hiveans available who can help you; you can click to go to The Terminal in Discord here:

Have fun and happy Hiving!

thank you so much, I think ilome question I've asked and have not gotten responses yet is how many blogs do people make everyday which is considered ok. I barely saw that rule.

also I'm using Inleo frontend, I just learned that there's more frontends. I asked Chatgpt about it and it seems to know a lot about it. I hope these websites are secured because they said I should make sure I'm not signing my keys to not secured sites. Which frontend to Hive do you recommend

Each frontend has its strengths and weaknesses. It also depends on the content you are going to publish, some are focused on specific formats such as video (3Speak) or photography (Liketu), apart from writing (PeakD, Ecency, Hive.blog, InLeo). My recommendation is that you try them out and choose the one you are most comfortable with.
