My Hive Goals for 2026 Week #11

I have decided to start posting a weekly update on my progress toward my 2026 goals here on Hive. It helps me stay on track, and I can realize if I am behind on a goal at any point in time. It's the third month of the year so far, and there is plenty of time left in the year. Also, for everyone's note, the Saturday Savers has ended, but the Slothly Savers Club has started in its place.

Progress

Above are statistics that I have gotten from HiveStats. This week is looking a bit worse than last week, and it all adds up over time.

HP

I earned 87 HP earned throughout the week. I am checking this through the difference between the two endpoints on the graph on Hivestats. The numbers are looking decent. The numbers are looking good, but it's worse than last week.

HBD

I earned 0 HBD this week. With the price of Hive lower, we have hit the debt limit. This means that we will be earning Hive instead of HBD. I won't be able to add to my HBD savings for a while, but the interest will help me towards that goal. When the Hive price is above the debt limit, I'll add to my savings. There isn't much I can do here, but at least that interest will add up. This month, the interest is 46 HBD, which is quite amazing. I do hope that Hive price recovers because I don't think my interest alone can make me hit my goal this year.

Conclusion

My progress is looking decent for now. I need around 2% per week, so this week I met that standard. HBD is ahead of where it needs to be right now, and interest really adds up. However, without any HBD being earned, it might not be enough if that doesn't change by the end of the year. Other than that, nothing much has changed, and I am just slowly grinding away at my goals.

Do you have any goals for 2026? What is the progress towards your own goals?

Feel free to leave a comment if you read my post. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, and I will do my best to answer.

Goals can be encouraging, but sometimes also a little disappointing. It's important to work towards a goal or target, but it's even more important to keep going over the long-term.

How are you increasing your staked HBD or are you on pause for now? Since we can't earn HBD anymore?

It's mainly going up through interest. I could swap Hive into HBD but I don't plan on doing that yet though.

The account growth is looking great, it would eventually accumulate and reach the desired goal

It is nice progress on your HP. I also manage to earn a good amount of Hive for my Hive goal this year.

I tend to try to stay as active as possible. However, I think I need to be more structured in 2026. Thanks for the encouragement!

The idea of goals always gets me excited. The only problem is I tend to fade as time goes by. Your progress, however, is looking pretty good. Well done!
