Scenery, Greenery, and a General Lack of Meanery

Whew, the last week has been even more than a banger than usual. I mean, it's not every week that I spend two nights sleeping in a chair and do a celebration of life landscaping melee, stay in a river house, and do all manner of interesting things in between.

During the past week I got a grandpuppy, Willard (he's the cutest little fella!), planted an unholy amount of plants, mowed a stupendous amount of hours, and ate quite a lot of delightful comestibles.

And I still have another two weeks of this pace to go.

But I am most elated about it all.

The boy graduates high school next Tuesday. That is truly blowing my mind.

It's especially weird when your youngest graduates high school, you really start thinking about the next phase of things, a state that I have waxed a bit non poetic about on this very blog. I have a grand adventure that I am going to embark on.

But first, I am finishing the race.

And what a race it is, over the next two weeks, I have mowing, cleaning, baking, and party prep for over two hundred people. I am starting to worry that an even three hundred might descend. Somehow along the way we really got to know a lot of folks.

But, after working at the theme park, two hundred tacos and the fixins won't be too much of a Herculean task. The problem is, I am about plumb worn out already.

Which is why this is going to be a short post, I need to go shower off all of the shrubbery and greenery adorning my form at the moment. I resemble an Ent.

So, for just a bit longer my posting frequency may be a bit erratic. Then hopefully things will settle down a bit.

Although, most of you are probably smirking and thinking, who is she kidding.

You are probably right lol!
