We completed another cycle this October 2025, and I’m very pleased to participate once again in HPUD!

October Evaluation

After going through some scares regarding Hive’s market value, we’re now dealing around ~0.120 USD, with large fluctuations. This makes me consider doing another Hive Power Up Month, where all my posts come with Power Up rewards! This really helps with account growth!

On the day of the big drop, October 11, I bought 5K HIVE on the exchange using external funds. I’m still deciding whether to power it up or take some profit.

In fact, my growth has been steady, month after month, since I joined HIVE — I’ve never, ever stopped accumulating and growing my account. What stands out in the chart below is that there seem to be blank days, but actually, the graphs are stacked — probably due to time zone issues. I’m in the UTC -3h region.

Indeed, I published at least one article for each of the 31 days of October, which earned me the Monthly Author badge awarded by the HiveBuzz team. I now have 11 full months as a Monthly Author. Still pursuing my first Yearly Author!

According to Hivestats, 679 Hive Power were added this month — quite an amount considering I’ve been posting continuously with 50% rewards. Definitely a reflection of Hive’s low market value.

Also, regarding curation rewards, I reached 65 HP, my record so far! That’s much higher than the 13 HP I had in December 2024! This happened because I withdrew many delegations and started using my own Hive Power for curation.

APR

My APR for the month was 8.48%. I still think this is an area that needs improvement. This number feels low, and I need to work on my efficiency here.

I expected to improve this metric, but I see I’m not managing to push this number higher.

1. What is Hive Power Up Day - HPUD

On the first day of each month, we’re invited to save some Hive in the form of Hive Power. Doing this not only supports the community’s sustainability but also gives us a chance to win prizes.

As you can see from the differences between the badges above, depending on how much Hive you power up, the badge gets stronger. In October, for example, I powered up 100 Hive, and the bee on the badge got really strong!

2. Why Participate

This section exists to explain to new Hive users the importance of staking. Yes, it’s repeated every month in each post. According to the project itself, here are some great reasons to do your Power Up:

• Strengthen your influence on the blockchain with stronger votes on content, proposals, and witnesses.
• Earn more curation rewards. The more Hive Power you hold, the more you can potentially earn back!
• Earn “interest” by holding Hive Power. You also passively earn HIVE — about 3% annually on your Hive Power holdings, so the more you have, the more you gain just by holding!
• Win prizes! Finally, many amazing community members offer prizes including Hive Power delegations, Hive merch, and other cool stuff for Hive PUD participants.

3. Hive Power Up Day - November 2025

For this event, I powered up 10 Hive.

With this amount, I’ll get the HiveBuzz level 1 badge!

That increases my strength to 13,250 Hive Power! That’s a big investment in this community! It shows how much I believe in Hive’s future!

4. HiveBuzz Project

This section is a (free) ad for the HiveBuzz project, and it’s repeated monthly.

The Hivebuzz project’s goal is to track, record, and certify users’ achievements on the blockchain. Each registered user has a dashboard showing their tracked accomplishments.

Completamos mais um ciclo neste mês de outubro de 2025 e é com muita satisfação que participo novamente do HPUD!

Avaliação do mês de Outubro

Depois de passar por alguns sustos com relação ao valor de mercado da HIVE, agora estamos lidando na faixa dos ~0,120 USD, com grandes flutuações. Isso me faz considerar realizar novamente um mês de Hive Power Up Month onde todas as minhas postagens são com recompensas em Power Up! Isso ajuda muito no crescimento da conta!

No dia da grande queda, em 11 de outubro, eu fiz uma compra de 5K HIVE na corretora, com recursos externos. Estou esperando para decidir se farei powerup ou se vou realizar algum lucro.

Na verdade meu crescimento tem sido constante, mês a mês, desde que entrei na HIVE, nunca, jamais, deixei de acumular e crescer minha conta. O que chama atenção no gráfico abaixo é que parecem haver dias em branco mas na verdade os gráficos estão empilhados, provavelmente por uma questão de fusorário. Estou na região UTC -3h.

De fato eu publiquei ao menos um artigo por cada um dos 31 dias do mês de outubro, o que me rendeu o distintivo Monthly Author concedido pela equipe HiveBuzz. Agora eu já possuo 11 meses completos de Monthly Author. Sigo na busca do primeiro Yearly Author!

Segundo Hivestats foram 679 Hive Power adicionados no mês, uma quantidade expressiva levando em conta que eu estou postando continuamente com rewards 50%. Certamente um reflexo da baixa no valor da HIVE.

Além disso temos esse detalhe de recompensas de curadoria onde cheguei a 65 HP que é meu recorde até o momento! Essa quantia é muito mais do que os 13 HP do mês de dezembro de 2024! Isso aconteceu porque eu tirei muitas delegações e estou usando meu próprio Hive Power para realizar curadoria!

APR

Meu APR do mês foi de 8,48%. Continuo achando que isso é um ponto que precisa ser melhorado. Penso que esse valor esta baixo e preciso trabalhar melhor minha eficiência neste quesito.

Eu tinha expectativa de melhorar neste quesito porém vejo que não estou conseguindo avançar neste número.

1. O que é Hive Power Up Day - HPUD

Todo primeiro dia do mês somos convidados a guardar alguma quantidade de Hive na forma de HivePower. Quem faz isso, além de ajudar a sustentabilidade da comunidade, pode concorrer a prêmios.

Como você pode perceber pelas diferenças entre os selos acima, dependendo de quanta Hive você guarda, o distintivo recebido é maior. Em outubro, por exemplo, eu guardei 100 Hive, e a abelha do distintivo ficou muito forte!
