#MyHiveGoals week #12: A canonical event is on the horizon! [Eng/Esp]
Happy weekend, everyone! I've really missed writing on Hive again, friends! It's not that I've been disconnected; I've simply been focused these last two weeks finishing my doctoral thesis, and yesterday, I finally did it! This is the result of at least five years of interdisciplinary research, so it has great significance for me. That's why I decided to title this #MyHiveGoals report "The Advent of a Landmark Event," a before and after in my professional career! And I couldn't let such a moment pass without celebrating, so I decided to toast with a shot of Santa Teresa triple-aged rum. My esteemed friend @ph1102 knows that moments like these deserve a toast of this magnitude! 😄

Now that I'm free of these academic/scientific responsibilities, I can return to Hive. As I mentioned before, I haven't completely disconnected; I've been sharing a few Dbuzzes throughout the week, sharing my daily tasks. However, I had to pause my posts about blockchain games and managing Hive and its second layer for the last two weeks. But one of the things I projected in my Week 11 report was the inevitable drop of Hive below $0.06, something that happened even before April arrived. Regarding this, I think it's pointless to get bitter or frustrated about it. Superior geopolitical forces, beyond our control, are pushing us into another long bear market. What's important, at least for me, being on Hive, is the usefulness of this platform as a decentralized means to share and meet people, as well as different points of view. So, the best thing we can do is continue to give utility and purpose to this wonderful blockchain.
Hive/HP
Let's start with Hive. Wednesday was #HPUD, and of course, I was very attentive to this date and activated my Hive for April. But I didn't stop there; I also achieved #HPUM for March, which we're still unsure about. It's been four months since we last received this badge because we haven't received either a badge or a delegation since December. The good thing is that at least we have the #HPUD badge for these four months of the year.
Last week, we were on the verge of reaching 9,000 HP, and we've far surpassed that projection this week, reaching 9,130 HP! This has been an achievement built through steady, painstaking work, because it's not just about posting rewards, but also because we've been working hard to chain #HPUD achievements on the 1st of each month and #HPUM achievements by locking at least one Hive every day. We have been doing this since the end of 2023 and the results are already visible: significant growth for HP that has already allowed us to achieve the dolphin badge.

HBD Savings
Now let's talk about HBD and our savings. These next two weeks will see very little gain in HBD. Obviously, the low price of Hive has significantly lowered this metric in our goals, but that doesn't mean we've stopped working on improving revenue streams to bolster our savings.
We've only generated 1,713 HBD, but to be honest, I've only been doing Dbuzz these last few days. As I mentioned, that thesis completely absorbed me, and I only had the last chapter left to write. It required many days of reading, comparing experiments from other labs, and ultimately, I didn't have time to post in the communities where I usually create content. But at least we're getting closer to the day when we can access our locked HBD, so between now and Tuesday we'll potentially add 21 to 22 HBD to our HBD piggy bank, bringing us close to 1940 HBD.
2nd Layer Token: Land Resources
Let's continue with the opportunities we can find in the second layer of the hive. This is the third part of the ways I generate income in Splinterlands, and this time we'll talk about a third layer of depth in terms of profit-generating tokens. In my two previous reports, I discussed the Sps governance token within the game and the Dec, which is the game's "main" token. But this time, I want to share what I consider an expansion of the game: the virtual lands that are currently being integrated with the main game. For now, I have three plots, but the most valuable and the one that generates the most income is this epic plot that produces the stone resource.

There are different types of virtual lands: some generate resources, others research points, and others directly generate SpS (Skill Points). In my case, I've chosen stone plots because the cost is relatively low and they sell very well right now. Each resource on these plots—grain, wood, stone, and iron—is an NFT (Non-Field Trader) that you can trade and sell. For these virtual lands to generate resources, you need a certain amount of Dark Energy Crystals, a power source, and game cards that you must block to act as workers that extract the resources from the land.

I started accumulating stone resources at the end of December and already have the equivalent of $25 in Dark Energy Crystals. Of course, everything will depend on the supply and demand of stone in the market, so for now, I'll continue accumulating this resource until the end of the year. Then we'll see how much Dark Energy Crystals we generate, and if it's a good amount, I could convert them to HBD (Hardware Debits) or directly reinvest them by buying NFTs that further improve my plot's production.

Feliz fin de semana comunidad! Como me hacía falta escribir en Hive nuevamente amigos! Y no es que me haya desconectado es que simplemente estuve enfocado estas últimas 2 semanas terminando de escribir mi tesis doctoral y ayer, finalmente lo he logrado! Este es el resultado de al menos 5 años de trabajo de investigación interdisciplinario, por lo que tiene una gran significación para mi. Es por ello que decidí titular este reporte de #MyHiveGoals como el advenimiento de un evento canónico, un antes y un después en mi carrera profesional! Y no podía dejar de celebrar semejante momento y decidí brindar con un shot de ron Santa Teresa triple añejado, mi estimado @ph1102 sabe es momentos como estos merecen un brindis de semejante envergadura! 😄

Ahora que ya me he liberado de estas responsabilidades académico/científicas puedo retomar mi tiempo a Hive, como dije antes no es que me haya desconectado completamente he estado compartiendo un par de Dbuzz a lo largo de los días compartiendo mis quehaceres diarios pero tuve que pasusar mis post de juegos blockchain y gestiones de Hive y su segunda capa estas últimas 2 semanas. Pero una de las cosas que había proyectado en mi reporte de la semana #11 es la inevitable caída de Hive por debajo de los 0,06$, algo que sucedió incluso antes de la llegada del mes de abril. Al respecto, creo que es fútil amargarse o frustrarse por esto, fuerzas geopolíticas superiores y que están más allá de nuestro alcance están empujando a otra larga temporada bajista. Lo importante al menos para mi que estoy en Hive es la utilidad de esta plataforma como un medio descentralizado para compartir y conocer personas, así como puntos de vistas diferentes. Así que lo mejor que podemos hacer es continuar dándole utilidad y propósito a esta maravillosa blockchain.

Comencemos con Hive, el miércoles fue el #HPUD y por supuesto estaba muy atento a esta fecha y realicé mi encendido de hive para el mes de abril. Pero no solamente me quedé allí, también logré el #HPUM del mes de marzo que seguimos si saber que pasa con este logro, ya son 4 meses que no recibimos esta insignia porque desde diciembre no hemos recibido ni insignia, ni delegación. Lo bueno es que al menos tenemos la insignia de los #HPUD de estas 4 meses del año.
La semana pasada estábamos a las puertas de alcanzar los 9000 de HP y vaya que hemos superado ampliamente esa proyección esta semana, 9130 de HP! Esto ha sido un logro construido mediante un trabajo de hormiguita, porque no solo se trata de las recompensas por publicaciones, sino porque hemos estado en la tarea de encadenar los #HPUD cada 1er día del mes y los #HPUM bloqueando al menos 1 Hive todos los días. Esto lo hemos venido haciendo desde finales del 2023 y los resultados ya están a la vista un crecimiento importante de HP que ya nos ha permitido alcanzar la insignia de delfin.

Ahorros HBD
Vamos ahora con los HBD y cuanto llevamos en ahorro, estas 2 semanas serán realmente de muy pocas ganancias en HBD, obviamente el bajo precio de Hive ha hecho que este parámetro en nuestras metas baje significativamente, pero eso no significa que sigamos trabajando en mejorar vía de ingreso que alimenten nuestros ahorros.
Apenas generamos 1.713 HBD pero siendo honestos solo he hecho Dbuzz estos últimos días, como les comentaba, esa tesis me absorbió completamente y eso que solo me faltaba por escribir el último capítulo, pero eso requirió de muchos días de lectura, contraste de experimentos de otros laboratorios y en fin no me daba tiempo de publicar en las comunidades donde suelo crear contenido. Pero al menos ya tenemos cerca el día de disponer de nuestros intereses por los HBD bloqueados que tenemos, así que de aquí al martes sumaremos potencialmente entre 21 a 22 HBD a nuestra alcancía de HBD por lo que estaremos cerca de los 1940 HBD.
Token de 2da capa: Recursos de Lands
Vamos a continuar con las oportunidades que podemos encontrar en la segunda capa de hive, y esta es la tercera parte de las formas que tengo para generar ingresos en Splinterlands, y en esta ocasión vamos hablar de una tercera capa de profundidad en cuanto a tokens que generar beneficios, ya en mis 2 reportes anteriores había hablado del Sps token de gobernanza dentro del juego y del Dec que es el token "principal" del juego. Pero en esta ocasión, quiero compartirles lo que considero una expansión del juego, y son las tierras virtuales que actualmente están en una fase de integración con el juego principal. Por ahora yo tengo 3 parcelas pero la más valiosa y la que más me produce es esta parcela épica que genera el recurso piedra.

Existen distintos tipos de tierras virtuales unas generan recursos, otras puntos de investigación y otras directamente Sps. En mi caso he escogido parcelas de piedra porque los costos son relativamente bajos y se venden muy bien en este momento. Cada recurso en estas parcelas: grano, madera, piedra y hierro, son NFT que puedes intercambiar y vender. Para que estas tierras virtuales generen recursos se requiere cierta cantidad de Dark Energy Crystal, una fuente de poder y cartas del juego que debes bloquear para actúen como trabajadores que extraigan los recursos de la tierra.

Comencé acumular el recurso piedra desde finales de diciembre y ya tengo el equivalente a 25$ en Dark Energy Crystal, por supuesto todo dependerá de la oferta y demanda del recurso piedra en el mercado, así que por ahora continuaré acumulando este recurso hasta el final de año y allí veremos cuanto generamos en Dark Energy Crystal y si es una buena cantidad podría pasarlos a HBD o directamente reinvertirlo comprando NFTs que mejoren todavía más la producción de mi parcela.
