Today is BPUD - And I'm jumping in!

The Hive ecosystem is a powerhouse of community-driven innovation, and the BBH Project is a perfect example of this. Spearheaded by the ever-consistent @BradleyArrow (this guy posted on Hive for 1964 consecutive days up to today!!! That's like each day for... wel... a long time!!!!), the project is a shining beacon of leadership, transparency, and community engagement. This month, I’m taking part in my first BPUD (BBHO Power Up Day), and it’s already an exciting step forward. Here’s why I decided to join, how I’m leveraging my BBHO holdings, and why you should think about diving in too.

My BBHO Journey So Far

I’ve been on Hive for a while now, sticking to auto-powering up by default. Right now, I’ve got over 2000 BBHO staked and am ready to power up another 501 BBHO for this month’s BPUD (yeah let’s face it, something IS wrong in my brain).

This is my first formal BPUD event, and honestly, it’s about time I got on board. These events bring the community together, and I’m all about growth—both for my stake and for the Hive ecosystem.

What Makes the BBH Project Unique

The BBH Project stands out in a crowded space. Why? Because BBH is more than just a token, or a tipping bot—it’s a community movement (be certain to also check out the BBH Outpost: https://www.thebbhproject.com). Yeah, it’s a pretty good one to stack! It’s flowing in quite well lately ;-) I do also add the BBH tag to my posts now ;-) That does also help :-D

It sure is, especially because it comes in half liquid and half staked, so even if I don't manually stake any for a month, my staked BBHO is always growing! Yep, I do that now too, and it is helpful indeed!

Quick side note. Pretty much all of our bots got flagged by a whale who really didn't like them, and all now have low reputations, aside from MMB. That's pretty disheartening and frustrating, and I'm not at all certain about what to do about it yet. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

No indeed, I've noticed the same. I've checked the profile, and it is apparently someone who does only that, downvoting and breaking peoples posts. No idea why, no idea what to do about it... I try to keep upvoting them as much as I can, hope that helps...

OK. I'm glad that you're aware of it. That kind of thing frustrates me so much, and it's really quite disheartening. We may have to modify the tip replies somehow, or maybe even remove them, so there is no longer a way to downvote them. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

That would indeed be a solution... But do we then still have a way of getting them back up in value as well?
The issue is, I see a value in the replies, but I also see the problem, it becomes a lot of replies over a short time. Not sure where the solution lies though...
Making them stop replying is pretty easy BTW, I have set it as a configuration option, to easily switch on and off.
I would prefer that people just let us know about their grievance instead of killing things like this...

I've been thinking about that. Without tip replies or posts on the account, the bots can't be downvoted, but that also means that we can't upvote them back to a good level.

We could do it like how PIZZA or WINE does it, as that would probably remove most of reason for the downvotes, since there won't be all the comment spam under posts or comments.

Yeah, I far prefer the bot replies to remain, but I also understand some people's concern about comment spam and Blockchain bloat.

I figured that, and it's very good to know that it can be adjusted so easily. Very good.
