The Future of Wealth Symbol

The world around us is changing faster than I believe most people can see. This morning I read about a recent survey done by the Nakamoto Project, and I realized how much public opinion is shifting when it comes to money and value. I'm writing this blog so you can see the change and prepare yourself for it, Incase you would be living on this planet for the next decade.
The survey was done carefully, online, with paid participants, and tried to match US Census data in different categories like age and income. From the survey, out of over 3,000 people asked, 80% believed the US should convert at least a small part of its gold into Bitcoin. Now note that one very valuable reserve backing the wealth of America is Gold, although there are many others, gold is seen more as a symbol of wealth, so for 80% to say "touch" gold for Bitcoin, it's a sign the symbol of wealth may be (not changing but diversifying).
Most people suggested between 1% and 30%. This also shows a clear interest by those who were surveyed in changing how the national reserves are handled. But well some people doubted these results, and claimed it might just be Bitcoin supporters who were surveyed. Even Troy Cross, one of the project’s co-founders, admitted they were surprised too. He pointed out that when people were asked to set a percentage between Bitcoin and gold, very few chose 0% for Bitcoin and made the average end up around 10%. Obviously the older people leaned more towards gold, while the younger ones were open to Bitcoin. As the cycle of life is, the older generation will in a few decades be wiped away sadly, so if this is what statistics are showing then it means the symbol of wealth in some years to come might be completely different. Well unless a miracle of immortality happens.
The truth is this kind of pattern with the older forks not preferring the new tech seems to happen with every new technology or financial idea that comes up so it's no surprise to me.
I also noticed how Dennis Porter from the Satoshi Action Fund mentioned that Americans don’t feel strongly about gold anymore. Currently people can buy digital assets with their phones, so old symbols of wealth like gold may not feel as important. Value is what we humans think is value. But, gold I believe will still be valuable in the sense that it's still being used to develop chips for tech, the tech we are currently using to create the value Bitcoin has.
It may not be a symbol in the far future, but a tool to develop the new symbols.
