Exploring the Bur Telege Peak with the Enchanting Beauty of the Lake and the City from the Top of the Peak

In this post, I want to share my travel experiences to one of the most popular tourist destinations in my area. As a local, I'm thrilled to explore this place and share my stories through posts in our beloved Worldmappin community.

I've shared stories of my journey through my Hive posts, and I'm also excited to share this one. We visited the peak of Bur Telege, a tourist destination within the Bur Gayo Highlands, a mountainous region in the Gayo Highlands.

The local government has managed this area as a tourist destination since the 1960s, as I learned from a monument at the summit. I went with my wife, and at that time, the tourist destination was still very quiet, as we visited after a natural disaster, so many tourist attractions were deserted.

We reached the summit by motorcycle. The road leading to the main tourist spot is accessible by vehicle, although quite steep, but passable by vehicle due to the concrete pavement. If we were to walk to the summit, we thought it would be very draining and take a long time.

This tourist spot is not far from the city center; by car, it only takes about 20 minutes to reach the summit. From the city center, we headed towards the lake, passed through the village, and then took the uphill road to the summit of Bur Telege.

The entrance fee to this tourist spot is usually IDR 10,000 per person. Tickets must be paid at the main ticket booth in the parking area below. However, there were no guards or anyone working at the ticket booth at that time, so we were able to access the summit for free by vehicle.

Upon reaching the summit, we parked our vehicle in the parking area not far from the cafe and restaurant area. There are several food and beverage stalls at the summit, but they were all closed that day.

We passed through a pine forest to reach the summit; all the tall, dense trees were pine trees. Around the parking area at the summit, there were monuments, flowerbeds, and several wooden benches with roofs of sago palm leaves, a unique and distinctive look within the forest.

There were also several nice benches covered with green synthetic grass. These rows of seats, arranged in ascending rows, faced the town and the lake. We walked to a balcony on the slope, which required descending a set of stairs.

This wooden balcony was the only good photo spot on the summit. The words "Bur Telege" were displayed on this balcony, marking the location and identifying the tourist attraction.

This wooden balcony looked sturdy, able to accommodate dozens of people. Surrounding the balcony were several excellent photo spots, all of which looked truly picturesque.

The most captivating aspect of the Bur Telege tourist attraction is the panoramic view of the lake and city from the summit. The city of Takengon and Lake Lut Tawar are clearly visible from this peak. The view is truly breathtaking and captivating.

Besides the stunning views of the lake and the city of Takengon from this peak, the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, with cool air and dense, shady trees. I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing here, as I felt a sense of calm and comfort, imbued with a natural sense of serenity.

Jika berjalan kaki untuk menuju puncak, kami pikir itu akan sangat menguras energi kami dan akan membutuhkan waktu yang lama untuk sampai ke puncak.

Lokasi wisata ini tidak jauh dari pusat kota, jika kita menggunakan kendaraan itu hanya memerlukan waktu sekitar 20 menit untuk sampai ke puncak. Dari pusat kota, kita menuju ke arah danau, melewati desa dan melalui jalan yang menanjak menuju ke puncak Bur Telege.

Biaya tiket untuk masuk ke lokasi wisata ini biasanya adalah IDR 10 K untuk satu orang, tiket harus kita bayarkan di bagian pos utama yang berada di area parkir di bawah. Namun pada waktu itu tidak ada penjaga dan orang yang bekerja di pos pemungutan tiket, jadi kami dapat masuk secara gratis menuju ke puncak dengan membawa kendaraan.

Setiba di atas puncak, kami memarkirkan kendaraan di area parkir yang tak jauh dari are cafe dan resto. Di puncak ini terdapat sejumlah spot warung yang menjual makanan dan minuman, tetapi pada hari itu mereka semuanya tutup.

Kami melewati hutan pinus untuk menuju ke puncak ini, semua pepohonan yang terlihat tinggi dan lebat adalah pohon pinus. Di sekitar area parkir yang berada di atas puncak terdapat tugu, tanaman bunga dan sejumlah tempat duduk yang terbuat dari kayu dengan atap dari daun rumbia, suatu tempat yang terlihat unik dan khas yang berada di hutan.

Ada juga sejumlah tempat duduk yang bagus yang telah diberikan alas berupa rumput sintesis berwarna hijau, tempat duduk yang berderet posisi dan meningkat ini berhadapan ke arah kota dan danau. Kami berjalan kaki menuju ke sebuah balkon yang berada di sisi lereng, kami harus berjalan menuruni tangga.

Hal yang menarik dari lokasi wisata Bur Telege ini adalah ketika kami dapat melihat danau dan kota dari atas ketinggian, di puncak dengan suasana yang asri. Kota Takengon dan Danau Lut Tawar tampak dengan jelas ketika dilihat dari atas puncak ini, sungguh sangat indah dan mempesona mata dengan segala yang dapat kita lihat dari atas puncak ini.

Selain dapat melihat keindahan danau dan pesona kota Takengon dari puncak ini, suasana di sini sangat tenang dengan udara yang sejuk dan pepohonan lebat yang rindang. Saya sangat menikmati untuk bersantai di tempat ini, karena saya merasakan ketenangan dan kenyamanan yang penuh dengan sensasi alami.
