06 March 2026,daily writing prompt:Underline it!

In a village, there was a creative boy named Abhra, whose passion was spending time in the old library. One day, he found a dusty magical pen. The pen's specialty was that writing anything ordinary with it would not become bright, but underlining any word would make that word come to life. Curious, Abhra wrote in his diary, "A flock of blue birds." Then, he carefully drew a line under the words "blue birds." In an instant, the sound of flapping wings filled the room, and a swarm of small blue birds flew in through his window.

He realized that the true purpose of underlining was to find special significance in the ordinary things of life. From that moment on, he began writing down the problems of every person in the village in his diary. Wherever he saw someone lacking food or feeling lonely, he would underline those issues. Under the influence of the magical pen, those matters would come to the attention of the villagers, and together they would solve them.

One day, the village's elder teacher said to him, "Abhra, why do you only underline problems? We also need to underline people's good qualities." That day, Abhra understood that when we focus on someone’s faults or shortcomings (underline them), society becomes engrossed in those. But if we underline someone’s honesty, hard work, or love, then those qualities will spread in society. From then on, Abhra's diary became a collection of beauty. Just as a stroke of his pen gives importance to writing, so did this perspective transform the entire village. The moral of the story is that the subject we choose to underline in life determines our journey ahead.
