Mall Santa Claus | A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Source
A seven-year-old boy named Mike accompanied his uncle to the mall for Christmas shopping. The atmosphere there was filled with the holiday spirit: bright lights adorned every corner and the aroma of hot chocolate wafted through the air.
But what stood out the most was the enormous line of children eager to see Santa Claus, who was sitting in a chair, with kids climbing onto his lap to ask for their Christmas gifts.
“Can I go see Santa?” Mike asked his uncle.
He simply nodded without hesitation. After nearly an hour of waiting, Mike found himself in front of Santa, who looked splendid in his red suit.
With a big smile, Mike sat on Santa's lap and, with all the innocence in the world, exclaimed:
“I want a car for Christmas”
However, Santa's response was:
“Ho, Ho, Ho, maybe when you grow up”
Mike crossed his arms and frowned.
“That's not fair, I want a car!” he said sulkily.
Santa just chuckled softly and winked as if keeping a secret.
After his uncle finished shopping, the boy left the mall feeling disappointed.
However, on Christmas morning, Mike woke up excited as he ran towards the Christmas tree; his eyes lit up when he saw a shiny toy car with a red bow.
It was everything he wanted: red, with gleaming wheels and an engine that made the sound of a real car.
That day, Mike played tirelessly, racing around his house in his new car. And as he spun in circles, he realized that sometimes wishes do come true.
