5 minute freewrite 2817 prompt sacrifice the lettuce!

This is my post for #freewriters 2817 prompt sacrifice the lettuce! hosted by @mariannewst

I feel bad for the little guy, but it is for his own good. His poop has been small and dark colored. He also has not been pooping as much as he should be. I think I have been giving him too much green stuff, too many treats, and too many rabbit pellets, and not enough hay.

He has not been happy with me. I always give him 4 pieces of romaine lettuce, but now I have to sacrifice the lettuce! I did give him one piece today because I feel bad for him.

image.png
I gave him a little of his favorite grass, sow thistle, fire on the mountain, and a piece of sweet potato vine. This will be gone in 2 hours or less, then he will have to eat the hay. I hope I am doing the right thing.

image.png
He was inside his house and started moving it toward the sweet potato vine. I do not know how he knew where it was at, but he went right to it.

image.png
It takes him less than a minute to eat this entire vine, it always amazes me to watch him eat. To be so little he sure can eat.

I pray Rudy is all okay. It is fun to have furbabies to love. The kitties are also choosy when it comes to the food they eat. I'd say the guinea pigs are the best as they happily munch on banana leaves and pellets daily. Not choosy at all. 😅 Keep sharing fascinating stories on Rudy. I sure enjoy reading about it. Happy Sunday!

I hope his digestive system gets sorted out soon!I know nothing about what a rabbit should eat, so I can't even make any suggestions.

I have been giving him less greens and treats and more hay, and he is going more, and it is not as dark colored. I think he is on the road to recovery.
