While the AI boom is going strong right now with loads of people finding purposes for generative and agentic AI, are things really going to go on the same way where multiple tech companies are growing like nobody's business, mooning the stock prices a few folds.

However, this had been built on the basis that the hype on AI will last for many more years to come. The bigger the hope, the bigger the balloon created.

Will it come to a stage whereby everybody still raving about AI but nothing useful or practical comes out of it? Or AI will become the biggest scammer of the criminal world, allowing people to lie and cheat money out of innocent people. Will governments clamp down the usage of AI?

The next thing will be all the unstable border tensions that are currently present but not resolved. Some look like having signs of recovery but others still rumble every day and even have shelling happening across the border.

All these hypes and border tension, will be the catalyst to the next depression should either just escalate to the next stage where hypes no longer holds its value or border tensions escalates with more countries involved.
