5 Minute Freewrite - Cup
All, doing a 5 minute freewrite. Thank you for reading.
It is the cup final and the two teams after going through a long journey of defeating various opponents that were in the path finally get to cross paths. The players of both teams knew what is at stake and knew they have to give their all in order to bring home the prestigious cup back to their club.
At the sound of the whistle, both teams went out strong and going for every challenge and pressing hard against their opponents. The teams were very evenly matched till the 80th minute when a breakthrough was finally seen and well worked play resulted in a goal that become the decider of the match.
It was an entertaining match and everyone applauded the nice work of both teams. While a defeat was hard to swallow, the teams shook hands with one another to wrap up this exciting cup final.
