Musashi's personality really caught my attention, a very human character despite having killed many other people. A quiet soul who only wants to train and enjoy life reflecting on his past actions and how the world revolves around him.

This adaptation shows us a version of Musashi that video games obviously do not show us, so in that sense it is an innovation, a risky move but one that undoubtedly came out perfectly.

The story takes us to a point where all the Oni have been exterminated by the demonic Gemma clan. The latter are still active, granting supernatural powers to their human recipients and wreaking havoc among them.

La personalidad de Musashi realmente llamo mi atención, un personaje muy humano a pesar de haber asesinado a muchas otras personas. Un alma tranquila que solo desea entrenar y disfrutar de la vida reflexionando en sus acciones pasadas y como gira el mundo a su alrededor.

Está adaptación nos muestra una versión de Musashi que evidentemente los videojuegos no nos enseñan, por lo que en ese sentido es una innovación, una jugada arriesgada pero que sin duda salió a la perfección.

La historia nos traslada a un punto donde todos los Oni han sido exterminados por el clan demoniaco Gemma. Estos últimos aún se mantienen en actividad otorgando poderes sobrenaturales a sus receptores humanos y causando estragos entre ellos.

That is where Miyamoto intervenes, who is sent by a priest to finish them off, but as in the Onimusha world the supernatural has a lot of weight, he is given a glove that has the ability to absorb the Gemma every time they are annihilated.

The characters that accompany the protagonist in the story are interesting, they are not great swordsmen but each one has unique abilities, for example there is one who controls two hawks, another who is a medical guru, one who is a coward but also good with destructive “drugs”, and so on, a unique team that is also commanded by a brave girl who is the only survivor of a village that inhabits the mountains.

I want to reiterate the good development of the story. In only 8 chapters, the adaptation invites us to get to know the characters more deeply, including Musashi, the best of all samurai, who surprisingly is afraid of bridges between mountains but not of fighting with other swordsmen and monsters, something out of all logic but that highlights the humanity of the character.

Finally and to conclude, I must emphasize that it is a decent adaptation, the animation has good elements, when there is blood, it looks like blood, not in spurts but a little realistic, the fights are very elaborate, although I must say that I did not like the last one because it was very surreal, but I understand the supernatural touch of the franchise is acceptable.

All in all, it's a series you can watch and enjoy.

Allí es donde interviene Miyamoto, quien es enviado por un sacerdote a acabar con ellos, pero como en el mundo Onimusha lo sobrenatural tiene mucho peso, se le es otorgado un guante que tiene la capacidad de absorber a los Gemma cada vez que son aniquilados.

Los personajes que acompañan al protagonista en la historia son interesantes, no son grandes espadachines pero cada uno tiene habilidades únicas, como por ejemplo hay uno quien controla dos halcones, otro que es un guru de la medicina, uno es un cobarde pero también bueno con "drogas" destructivas, y así, un equipo singular que además es comandado por una valiente niña quien es la unica sobreviviente de un pueblo que habita las montañas.

Quiero reiterar el buen desarrollo de la historia. En solo 8 capitulos la adaptación nos invita a conocer más profundamente a los personajes, inclusive a Musashi, el mejor de todos los samuráis, quien sorpresivamente le tiene miedo a los puentes entre montañas pero no a pelear con otros espadachines y monstruos, una cosa fuera de toda lógica pero que resalta la humanidad del personaje.

Por último y para concluir, he de destacar que es una adaptación decente, la animación goza de buenos elementos, cuando hay sangre, parece sangre, no a chorros pero si un poco realista, los combates muy elaborados, aunque debo decir que el último no me gustó mucho porque fue muy surreal, pero entiendo el toque sobrenatural de la franquicia es aceptable.

En definitiva, es una serie que puedes ver y disfrutar.
