Money Can't Buy Happiness Or Can It?

People always say money can’t buy happiness, but sometimes I sit and ask myself, is it really true? Because from what I have seen in life, money is very important, without it many things will not move.

I remember one time when I had no money, even to buy common food was a struggle. That season I was always sad, angry and thinking too much. So if we say money does not bring happiness, then why was I unhappy when I was broke? Truth is, money may not give you joy directly, but it creates the comfort that allow happiness to stay.

Money is important because it gives you choice. If you are sick, money can take you to hospital, pay for drugs, maybe even see better doctors. Without money, you will just sit at home with pain. If you want your children to go school, money is the key. If you want to travel, eat well, or even dress neat, you need money. So in many ways, money open doors to happiness.

But at the same time, I also believe happiness is not in money alone. I have seen rich people with big houses and cars but no peace in their home. Some have plenty money but they don’t sleep well at night. That one shows that money is not the final source of happiness, but it is still a big part.

For me, I think the right way to see it is that money can’t buy happiness fully, but it can buy things that make life easier, and that ease can give you room to be happy. Imagine eating good food, living in safe house, paying bills without shame all this things come from money, and they surely add to happiness.

So to conclude, money is not everything, but lack of money can make life very bitter. Happiness need peace, love, health, but money is the tool that help you enjoy them better. That is why I respect money, because even if it can’t buy happiness straight, it surely help happiness to grow.
