I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Well, I've got to say that this has not been the most inspiring day so far. It's been densely cloudy, windy, and raining torrentially on and off all day so far, with no end in sight. So yep, not my favorite morning. Keeping electrical devices, like my laptop and my phone, dry and safe under such conditions is no easy task, especially with sideways rain in an open-air bamboo yurt up on the lava.

Along with the general unpleasantness of the weather, I didn't sleep well last night, and I have a bit of a headache, so I don't have anything particularly inspiring, interesting, or motivating to share with you today, and for that I'm sorry. I have the generator running, as our solar-electrical batteries crashed a short while ago. The challenges in living here can be quite notable at times. Living outside the system does indeed have its sacrifices.

It still blows my mind that I've been able to remain so consistently active on Hive, and in my other technological focuses like Qortal and Arch Linux, living where and how I do for so long. It's jungle tech, and tenaciously unwavering commitment and dedication, to the max. I always find a way, period.

That I've been able to maintain this precarious balance in my daily routine, that's made what I do on Hive every day possible, even amidst the notable heartbreak-induced imabalances in my life, is also quite astounding. I've seriously been doing this for years now.

I live on the edge between many worlds out here, between being deeply involved with community and sovereignty-driven technology and living barefooted and naked deep in and very close to nature in an off-grid jungle community, between community and solitude, between agony and ecstacy, and between breakdown and breakthrough, among assorted others. I find balance in the midst of my heartbroken imbalances, which allows me to focus my energies and efforts more efficiently and effectively. That's how I've done what I've done on Hive for so long.

Yesterday, Thursday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, quite late, by a little before 2:45PM, partly due to rain. I focused on a few small jungle-community chores, as well as helping Jacob, to whom I had given some Albendazole the night before to clear a probable rat-lung worm infection, to prepare a batch of medicinal tea made from Chinese rain bells (Strobilanthes Hamiltoniana), which is potently anti-nematodal. After assisting Jacob, who was thankfully feeling better than the night before, I went to turn on the generator (due to lots of clouds), then to the new kitchen to make myself some food (a spiced-and-seasoned beef burger, on olive-oil-toasted sourdough, with pepperjack cheese, smoked hot sauce, and Dijon mustard), and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hands, I headed back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got everything done by about 10PM, and after some asset management, and perusing X and Qortal, I went to bed by around 11PM. I woke up a bit after 7AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the new kitchen, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1:15PM, so it's quite a good time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon (hopefully not in the rain), to focus first on some rainy-day photography for my posts, and then on jungle-community/land work. 2026 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
