I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. As some of you may already have noticed, the interest on HBD in Savings was lowered to 14% today, as the top witnesses reached a new consensus. Given the horrible state of the Hive economy, it was a given that this would happen at some point, and it may indeed be lowered even further. Now income from HBD in savings is about the same as what's possible from curation rewards. While the interest for HBD in savings is being lowered, the largest problems by far are the huge DHF payouts, and the subsequent divestment of Hive assets on exchanges. I'm coming close to removing my support from all proposals, except the Return Proposal, and @mantequilla-soft's proposal to burn HBD.

With the present HIVE prices, I've definitely been considering withdrawing my HBD from savings (again), to swap for HIVE to power up, given that it would give me around 9.2k HIVE. I'm still determined, however, to grow the amount of HBD that I have in savings as as much as I possibly can, to eventually be able to use it as a source of funds and funding. The @lazy-panda account, which is the official curation account for the Hive Learners community, earns about 30k in savings interest every month, from their almost 2.5 million staked HBD, so yeah, I'm not so inclined to jump the gun by removing my HBD from saving.

On somewhat different topic, I have some great news for those of you who expressed interest in the creation of an ALIVE:HEARTBEAT pool. Ben mentioned to me this monrning that he'll have sufficient BEE to create this new pool by this weekend, so that's something very cool to which we have to look forward very soon.

My investing adventures on Qortal have become more interesting as of late, since I've begun to buy GBQ (Gold-Based Qoin), which is an asset that's backed by redeemable goldbacks via a UPMA (United Precious Metals Assocation) account, using QORT that I've earned from my level-6 minting node. Before today, I had 15 GBQ, and I just bought another two, so I'm up to 17 GBQ now. I got my first batch at 79 QORT per GBQ, while the two today cost me 104 QORT per GBQ, since the price of gold has been rising. Although I have no way to leverage them on Qortal, I definitely think that they're a very good investment long-term investment.

I sure wish that there were a way to connect Hive and Qortal, to make it possible to exchange and leverage their respective assets against each other, especially ones like GBQ that's backed by a solid RWA (Real-World Asset). Although most of my investments are on Hive, not all of them are, so I have, and I'm growing, assorted off-chain crypto assets, on multiple other interesting blockchains as well, Qortal, the Voi Network, Blurt, and Bastyon, to mention the most notable others in which I'm involved, always with the hope of being able to cross invest and cross leverage. For all its notable challenges, Hive still offers the most interesting and diverse investment framework and potential that I've found.

Yesterday, Thursday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by around 2:15PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts. I got a few small tasks done after that, including chopping and dumping bad/used coconuts at the upper coco bar, and doing a bit of clearing work with my machete along the second driveway, near the Flow House. After clearing a good swath around my three young cashew trees, I headed to the new kitchen, to prepare some spiced-and-seasoned ground beef, which I then used to make one of my badass burgers, and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hands, I returned to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got everything done by around 10:30PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed by 11PM. I woke up just after 7AM, having slept reasonably well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the new kitchen, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 1PM, so it's an excellent time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before preparing for a session that's scheduled (I think) for 1:30PM. 2026 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
