I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

2026 is just beginning (at least in terms of the inaccurate Julian-Gregorian 12-month calendar), and as I survey our community landscape, I must say that I'm very much loving what I'm seeing. There is increasing interest in the We Are Alive Tribe from the greater Hive community, and in our ALIVE token, with new members, new investors/stakeholders, and new collaborations with allied projects and communities. As of this morning, the market price of ALIVE is over 0.145 SWAP.HIVE, with its fiat-dollar value now exceeding 1 cent, which is extraordinary indeed, though we're really just getting started!
The We Are Alive Tribe has been moving into closer contact, communication, and collaboration with other solidly committed, dedicated, and trustworthy people, projects, and communities, as we build a larger network of mutual support, that benefits everyone involved. We'll be sponsoring the newly rebranded and relaunched Slothly Savers Club with ALIVE, ALIVEM, and BBH, to be distributed to weekly comment and raffle winners, to help make this wonderful old-and-new Hive initiative as amazing for the participants as we can, and to introduce more Hivers to our mutually-beneficial and mutually-supportive community and token.
Our @aliveandmmb witness node has been chugging along, successfully producing and signing a block every few days (with no missed blocks), and it's risen in the ranking two days in a row, getting close to Bjorn's @botlord witness. It's also been actively upvoting in our curation trail, along with the two other new community accounts that I've just recently added, @wearealive, and our main community account, @hive-155221. I'll continue to boost the HP on all community accounts in our trail, to make their individual and collective upvotes all the more useful for our community.
Our ALIVE:SWAP.HIVE pool, as I expected from my initial assessment, is becoming one of the best pools available, with a very high swapping/trading volume, and correspondingly high pool fees earned. As of today, and with present market prices, there is $149.134 in total liquidity, or 4,376.16/679.107 SWAP.HIVE, with $2.83084, or 134.178 ALIVE/4.94 SWAP.HIVE, in cummulative fees earned, and $2,229.509, or 103,433.831 ALIVE/4,241.586 SWAP.HIVE in cummulative swapping/trading volume. That is quite good indeed, and it's just the beginning!
The We Are Alive Tribe is flowing, growing, and developing quite well indeed as of late, which is so incredibly beautiful to see, and we're working diligently to make our community a financial and economic powerhouse, and a force for good, on the Blockchain. It's Maximum Mutual Benefits, and solid mutual support all the way, and the best is yet to come!
Yesterday, Saturday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by a little after 2:15PM, giving my attention to some photography for my posts first, after which I felt inspired to make another batch of my spiced-and-seasoned popcorn in the Landing, as various people at GaiaYoga have come to very much appreciate it. After nibbling on my delectable snack with a few GaiaYoga peeps, I assisted them in the process of harvesting 3 jackfruit from a rather tall tree, using an extension ladder. One was overripe (too far gone) one was perfectly ripe (and delicious), and the other was just underripe. We shared some of the ripe jackfruit in the Landing, then I ended up helping Trust, a young woman who's been staying here, to fold a pile of laundry. With that done, I got my machete and I weeded and cleared under and around the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn, which made the area look so much better. After wrapping that up, I took a shower, collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, and then I headed back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got everything done by a little after 9:30PM, and after some asset management, and watching the documentary Who Killed Bitcoin? on Qortal (via Q-Tube), I went to bed by around 11:45PM. I woke up by around 6AM, having slept fairly well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, going for a short photography walk down our jungle road, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1:30PM, so it's a magnificent time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, including my once-weekly thorough asset management for the We Are Alive Tribe, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on a few small community/land-work tasks. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until my next goals-and-progress update tomorrow morning, and the next incarnation of these posts tomorrow afternoon! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2026 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

I'm coming by mainly today to say I appreciate the comments on my posts (even if I don't always reply) as it is obvious, you actually read and reflect on people's words.
So since your community there in Hawaii is off-grid, what ways do you all create power and moreover, secure a network for internet access? Do you trade with other communities or take trips to the store for things the jungle doesn't provide? I have no idea what that would be, but inquiring minds and all.
Finally, never been there so seeing some good photos is great! Also never had a jackfruit, what's it similar to?

Warm greetings, my friend. Yes, you did, and I super appreciate it, thank you very much. The MMB part is referring to Maximum Mutual Benefit, and it's a term I coined for what I'm always working to build on Hive, or anywhere else for that matter, dynamics and systems that are inherently mutually supportive and mutually beneficial. It's also a project, the MMB Project, that I run with @borniet, who is also one of the other core members of the We Are Alive Tribe.
I really appreciate that, and I'm grateful for your visit. I won't write anything if I have nothing useful to say, so yes, I always read what people write, as I hope that they do for me too. I originally started following you because I really like to get to know the people who run the projects in which I invest, or might invest, not only for me, but for the We Are Alive Tribe too, since I manage all the assets. I'm always looking for other committed, dedicated, consistent, and trustworthy people and projects to support, and with which to collaborate.
We have a pretty solid solar electrical system, which works well most of the time, and a backup propane generator for densely cloudy days. For internet, we have a custom structure build out on the lava, the Dog House, that houses a dual-band mobile broadband router, that connects to mobile networks, it's on T-Mobile at the moment. That is transferred via ethernet cables in conduit to the rest of the property, with the signal being repeated by various switches and routers. It's a very custom jungle system, which I mostly set up and maintain. We have weekly town runs, to restock supplies, and I wish that we traded with surrounding communities more than we do. There are several local farmers markets as well, for both buying and selling. It's always been very challenging to live here, where and how I do, but I've also always been deeply grateful for it, because I've been able to carve out a life here that mostly works, and where I can live on my own terms, which is priceless.
I'm glad that you appreciate my photos, brother. There's so much beauty here, and I love capturing and sharing it. Do you know the taste of Juicy Fruit gum? The original flavor of that comes from jackfruit. It's only really similar to other related fruit, like chempadek, pedalai, and assorted tropical Asian fruit like it.
