Happy midweek 🎉 My smile gets bigger as the weekend draws near. 😅 Well, at least I have something to look forward to each week. 😂 I just wish that I have a two-day weekend like others do. 🤔

I think I'll have something planned this weekend. Not that I will be celebrating Valentine's. 🤣 But I'll share updates when my plan pushes through. After all, I don't want it to be jinxed. 😂 I'm still trying to test the waters as to how much I can really do.

On this day, I'd love to share updates on the home front. This, however, was a throwback photo to the time when Mom's rain lilies bloomed freely like this every year. This particular plant loves the rain. Sadly, most of it is gone now (esp. when Mom passed). Last year I only got a single flower from it. Most of the plant is now gone. I wish I can bring them back. I miss Mom so I honor her legacy by taking care of her garden. Since I'm unable to do things all by myself, I do have a garden keeper who helps maintain the tiny container garden once a month. I dream of having a home with my own garden. Perhaps one day. 🙏❤️💡

I love this quote. 😅 I guess you could say that I'm at this stage in my life right now. I do remind myself that I deserve treats and pampering too. So yes, I do make it a point to schedule rest and relaxation for me. Plus, I do buy myself something nice once in a while. It's the least I can do for doing my best each day. 😉

Any plans for Valentine's day? I have ordered flowers for Mom's vault for this occasion. I will just follow up with the flower shop for photos. ❤️💡 Gosh it's almost middle of the month too. Pretty soon we will be saying good-bye to February.

I like those pink lilies, we also have in our little garden,we called it American Lilies. They blooming during the rain and the complete bunch looks very beautiful.

That sounds like a beautiful way to honor your mom's memory.
Her rain lilies must have been so special, and it's lovely that you're keeping her legacy alive through the garden.
Even if it's just a small container garden for now, it's still such a meaningful space.
I hope your dreams of having your own garden comes true someday, it sounds like it would be a peaceful and fulfilling place for you.
