Alive & Thriving Midweek : Busted Monitor 😖 || AATYr5 || Prompt A Day 😊

Happy midweek 🎉 wish I could indeed say it is happy. It is stressful though as I need to find ways to work online with my monitor suddenly dying on me. It was sort of flashing somewhat yesterday. I thought it had to do with loose connection so I fixed it. I got to use it without issues at all then. When I turned it on today, it was also flashing a bit, but I got it to work. I got up from my work desk for a while. When I got back, the monitor was off. I did a lot of troubleshooting but never got it to turn on again. I'm at a loss on whether it's a cable / power cord issue or if it's a monitor issue itself. It's less than three years old so it's a bummer to be having this issue at all. I went down to see if the guard who fixes electrical stuff was on duty. Sadly, he's not. I will need to go down again tomorrow to seek his advice. The down side is he's always too busy and cannot fix anything quickly. Worst case scenario is I will need to get a new monitor while waiting for the busted one to be fixed. 😫 I'm using work pc for now just to complete this.

For the meantime, I will need the help of @benthomaswwd for the #aliveandthriving curation. That's one reason I will need to fix the problem quickly too. I honestly do not want to burden anyone else with my tasks, but for now, my hands are tied. I'm trying to think up of an immediate solution already. I hope it does not take too long. 😒

My one consolation for today is seeing more purple wreath flowers in my terrace garden. I've been waiting for this for so long. Almost four years before it started producing these lovely purple flowers. I hope it's just the start and will keep on blooming.

This quote makes me feel hopeful. I need to believe I can fix my problem quickly. Most importantly, I will need to act on it too. I can't do much for my monitor tonight except to troubleshoot the best way I can. I will try and consult more folks tomorrow (esp. the pc store where I bought my pc set). My late dad's advice comes to mind, "It's a problem all right, it's a problem with a solution." I am doing my best on focusing on the solution. Let's see if I will have better news tomorrow. 🙏❤️💡

Two days left in February, and it's still presenting me with challenges. To be honest, I'm tired (not in a physical sense too). However, I choose to look at the matter in a positive manner. There's a lesson to be learned here. I'm definitely taking notes. I wouldn't want to be caught off guard like this next time. 😞 I know I can do this! 💪

It's a challenge to work on my online activities today, but I somehow managed. Adjustments are needed till I get a properly working monitor. Wish me luck!

I need to wrap up earlier tonight, as I'm using my work pc for this. I pray for more clarity on what to do tomorrow. I sure hope I could come up with another post then. Let's see 🤞 Wishing y'all a happy midweek. Nighty night from Manila. Ta-tah! 👋
